The Plus: Heavy duty construction without heavy weight. Amazing response and heating on our induction cooktop, the best I have ever used apart from cast iron. They look beautiful.The Minus: They really only come clean with Barkeepers Friend. I take mine to the mud sink where I can use BKF liberally and they end up looking like new. There is a learning curve, you must use lower heat to start and then turn down much lower or you will have a lot of sticking, even with a well oiled pan. On the pots, the flange on the lid in too small and they have no place from which to pour out a pan. A larger strainer flange of the lid would be a big addition. Also on the pans, when you remove the hot glass lit and set it aside, you can hear it cooling, that is a bit unsettling. The handles on all are a bit too long and would benefit from a silicone coating, especially the lids.Bottom Line: I love them, my wife hates them, but I do most of the cooking. You must learn how to cook with them to make them more resistant to sticking and that means using lower heat. You must clean with BKF. We clean them as usual and run them through the dishwasher, but the next morning I brighten them up with BKF. Most of the criticisms of this product will be solved but following these suggestions.Final Thought: I also bought a Redchef non-stick skillet which is almost identical in construction to the Tramontina. Look to be made in same factory. It has a really nice non-stick surface. Unfortunately they only make two sizes and no pots. I would recommend the Redchef over the Tramontina if non-stick is a big issue for you.

These pots are very high quality, very well designed. The lids fit tightly. They clean easily, without any coatings or chemicals. The set lacked a small saucepan, but I bought one separately, along with a steamer, and was able to do away with the miscellaneous of sizes and types that had filled my cabinet. The finish is beautiful, the workmanship is great, heat distribution seems even and fast. Can be used in the oven, as they are all steel. Nothing about them is annoying or substandard.

I use this small Tramontina pan every day - its just a perfect size. Plus easy to clean, well made & nice looking.

Back in the 1970's, I sold cookware a couple of weeks for a Summer. It was called "Wonderware". The stuff was fantastic, though expensive. It was triple-clad. Stainless steel in the inside and outside with a top-to-bottom copper middle for heat conduction. And after I sold my first (and one-and-only) set, I owned my sample kit!But things wear out and the saucepan started flaking off stainless steel bubbles on the inside, which seemed unsafe. So I needed a replacement. This saucepan is the same in quality. The glass lid lets you see the simmer without lifting the lid. It is very heat-efficient, sturdy, and cooks things perfectly.It is worth buying. It will certainly outlast me.. I would recommend it to anyone.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 😍But one of the lids came brokenIt’s ✨ shiny ✨ High Quality ✨ Great size ✨ bit heavy but i guess it’s good!But i’m sure the way they place the items inside the box made it too heavy on the lid so it broke.Talked to de Tramontina support they sent me a new lid, in a bout 1 week I got a new one, so that was great!Would I biy it again? This is one hefty saucer, especially with a glass lid; thats a good thing. Feels like it'll last a lifetime. There are no burrs or rough edges; dents or any other defects. It heats evenly and quickly, for stainless steel; on 3800w induction cooktop. The inside is a little coarse, may make it harder to clean burnt on stuff until it wears a bit from use and cleaning. Exterior is bright polished but not exactly mirrored; which is ok because mirror finishes don't stay flawless for long. As others have said, lid handle can get hot so be aware. Side handle is sturdy and doesn't get too hot, and is angled up a bit. It is large enough to hold with two hands if needed.Excellent buy at $60Edit: Also bought 2qt size. Finish of the inside and outside of the 2 qt size was less polished, with obvious scratches from initial sanding; especially around where the handle is attached.Inside spotted boiling rice, leaving small dark gray stains; removable with Barkeepers Friend. I'm uncertain if thats because it wasn't polished as well as the 3 quart; or inconsistent quality of stainless steel used on the interior.

Happy so far--these seem high quality and are easy to cook with and clean. There is sometimes a residue left after washing in the dishwasher, so I hand wash whenever I can. Cooking seems even and works well with a gas stove. I wish there was a larger pan instead of the smallest size, but this is good quality stainless for the price.

These pans provide very even heat and you never need to go above medium high to cook the best foods. Please know that you must follow the directions for your stainless to be nonstick. Cleanup is a breeze by just boiling some water in the pan and using a wooden spoon to loosen all the food on the sides and bottom. They are sturdy and hold up very well as I cook every night for my wife and kids. I have many Tramontina Brizilian pans. Fry pans, Saute pans, and Wok and they all have glass cool handles. Some of the pans have a second handle for easy lifting and carrying to the table. You can be proud of owning this set or separates. Go For it and see for yourself

I love this pan the size is great, clean up is easy, looks very good and is well built.

After reading reviews I decided to purchase this large cookware pot. The quality was good, love the clear vented lid. Even heat distribution and holds the heat well. I would purchase other sizes from this brand.

After lots of research we bought a set of these pots and pans; best set we both ever owned. The set we bought came with a 1.5 quart pot and a 3 quart pot, and I realized that I wanted this “in between” 2 quart size. I use them all. They are a great weight with a nice handle, and do a marvellous job. Highly recommend.
