Does it need a track for the upper end?

It has a track, the door didn’t go from the ceiling to the floor and we wanted it to touch the floor so we put a 1x4 on the wall and attached the door to that. It sounds weird but it actually looks good.

How wide are the removable slats? Can I make these doors 30 inches wide by removing slats?

The panels are not removable from this door. The door will still work in a 30" opening, you will just have to trim the top track.

does this come with door handles for both sides?

There will be handles on either side of the door. It will be anchored on one side, and the side with the handles will have handles on both sides.

My closet length is 72" long ,can u cut cut the piece that the handle goes on?

The door will need to be collapsed to cut the length off the door, that includes the lead edge that the handle goes on.
