Kaleidoscope DIY Assembly Kit, Filled with Dried Flowers (Spring)

I was not expecting this to be a very good product, BUT I WAS WRONG. I was astonished at how good the wood and other materials were that were supplied in this DIY kit. I expected the non-glass mirrors would not be very clear or reflective. WRONG AGAIN. Really VERY GOOD OPTICS for such a cheap DIY (Do It Yourself) kit. And because you get to actually build the kaleidoscope, you can see how it actually works! I was totally impressed. Also, the scope goes together quickly, without glue, and comes out very sturdy and stable. For those of you that like to fiddle with stuff, I have taken this scope apart several times, fiddles with things, put it back together, and IT STILL WORKS!!!!!!!. Totally totally impressed. I would wager that this is THE BEST DIY kaleidoscope kit out there on the market right now. Definitely thrills a 65 year old geezer, and I bet it would thrill both kids out there and other fellow geezers as well! SOOOOO cool.FOLLOW-UP NOTE: Because you can take the scope apart and fiddle with it, you can do very cool things. Take the scope apart and cover up ONE of the mirrors with black paper. Cut the paper to the exact size of the mirror, and then tape the paper to the mirror. Then put the scope back together and look thru the eye-piece again. Voila! Now you get a circular image (called a mandala) in the center of the view. VERY cool effect. I don't know WHY the directions don't tell us that we can do this! But I just did! Now try using flashy shiny paper instead of black. Cool eh?
