These clippers, also called nippers, were delivered at the house quickly and without problems. They were packaged in a padded envelope. The clippers themselves were packed in frustration free packaging consisting of paper and molded clear plastic. Looking them over you see only shiny metal. There is not any rust or tarnishing.The clippers have a soft plastic protector at the tip. We will make sure we keep this. The clippers are very sharp at the tip and it will be a good idea to have this protector over them to prevent any accidents. Even throwing them into our bathroom bag, I wouldn't want the bag getting poked with them in there.Once you open the clippers completely you flip down a metal rod-like piece, as I have shown in the picture. This gives the clippers their spring-like ability. This spring construction is better than some thin piece of metal that I have seen on other clippers in the past. Operating the clippers is very smooth and easy to do so with them springing back open and being ready to cut the next thing.These clippers are solid and sharp. I would recommend them to anyone in need. They are great to add to the arsenal of cosmetic / bath tools. They are working great for what we need them for. These worked great on my thicker nails with minimal pressure. The narrow point worked perfectly on the hard to reach areas.

Works well

For ingrown toenails you often see straight cutters with rectangular cross sections. I have them and while they work, getting in very deeply is painful due to their large sizeThese clippers are svelte, and surprisingly tough. I really thought the tips would bend or fail to stay sharp, but they are incredibly strong for the dimension, this makes it easy to dig in deep without painfully lifting up the rest of the nail from the nail bed. I wish I had bought them first.

These are longer than most sold at stores. Really easy to use.
