Headlights are not insanely “plug and play” and I wish there were some better directions but they are stunning lights. Very high quality and very great customer support!

head lights are great but they strobe on one side and i already have a light out. I told them about it and they wont work with me..

The headlights look amazing! Kinda on the expensive side but really good quality. I would say on point with an oem standard of quality. Great improvement over the oem halogen headlights. The manufacturer had very detailed installation instructions on their website that made it pretty smooth. I installed these in a 2022 f-250 and the only thing I could recommend is a trim removal tool set with no scratch style plastic tools…that was the key to getting the grille apart. Overall, very happy. Also worth mentioning, these are tinted and make your fog lights look out of place.

Backstory is I ordered a “Covid” (2022 F250) truck and options for led oem lights were pushing delivery dates back by months sometimes. So I stuck with junk halogen to get truck faster. Dealers were telling me they couldn’t get OEM LED so I began the search for aftermarket. After some research, I kept going back to these Morimoto. The videos looked great and install was said to be a breeze. So, I bought the full set front and back. Here’s where I am.Let’s start with the good. They look really cool. Attractive lights front and back. See the before and after photos. Huge difference from OEM Halogen.Now the not good. 1. Never did I see that you cannot turn these things off!!!!!!! Infuriating! That’s right, they will not turn off with the headlight switch and you have no option of not having daylight lights on or off. THESE THINGS ARE ALWAYS ON! It is stupid. Had I seen one video say that before I bought them…I wouldn’t have bought them. I have plenty of times where I don’t want headlights or cannot have them in what I do. Now I’m hostage. Hope you Morimoto boys come up with something quick for a solution that us prisoners can plug in to modify this ridiculousness! 2. Install video so simple, sure - if you have the truck with the little black grill tabs that slide right off. Better do research on the chrome package. I had to search for a video that could remotely help me disassemble the front end to get the lights installed. 3. Not until the very last step that I did which was placing fuse box cover on did I find a problem. IT WONT FIT WITH THE NEW FUSE WIRE you have to use. Spent 20 minutes tracking down more info and turns out you have to notch the fuse box or cover so it will even close. 4. High beams are not that great or much difference from low beams. Why not make all 4 have a high beam ability?! 4. I wanted a clear headlight. Apparently the lends is clear but everything behind that is black or smoke so it makes the lens's look smoked. Cool to some, not to others. 5. Delay in bright from one to the other headlight. If I flip the switch for brights, the passenger side engages then a split second later the driver one catches up. Not a huge deal but annoying.If I could go back in time, these would come off the truck. Morimoto dudes, if you have a solution so I can turn off my headlights, send it to me. Otherwise, get on finding and creating one!!! I totally wanted to install all Morimoto lights all the way around my truck and was getting fog lights and 3rd brake order after these were installed. Probably not now. To be honest, I’ll likely take them off and return them.Sorry for the rambling but before you buy these to upgrade your wheels, you should look at other options and maybe save a little money by doing so. If you don’t care about not being able to turn of your driving lights, EVER, then get these.Thanks for reading. Good luck out there!

I’m very happy with the quality and brightness and looks of these lights, they are a little more smoked in color than a factory light so your front end will look a little darker than it did before. Pretty easy install, only small issue I had was getting them leveled evenly once installed which was probably more inexperience than anything else
