Love the elegance of the fans, not sure about durability if fans are not handled with care.

Item as pictured, light gray fabric & black fabric, received both fans as listed. They have a cute fabric pouch to slide them into for stashing in your purse & I recommend using it bc the wood fan slats are very thin. I am careful with use but they will take a beating in & out of my purse constantly this summer (NY hot & humid on buses)...worth the price for about 2 summers of use before they either break or fabric tears...

A little smaller than I expected, but well-made and beautiful. Suits my purpose of drying the setting spray on my makeup, and cooling down at concerts.

They are very well made, easy to use and a good size. They help me survive hot flashes!

I got the black and the pink/grey/black duo. Gorgeous and stunning. I almost want to get a 2nd set just to hang on my wall as decor. I showed my boyfriend the fans and we both agree they're maybe not silk (silk is super super soft - if you've touched silk, you'll understand) as this feels like a rough thin odd fabric. Definitely not silk (unless it's a matter of thread count like sheets have; lower count means rougher feel. Higher count means super soft). The ribs and hand holding parts feel like a super thin wood so it may or may not be bamboo. None of this actually matters though, since I'm using them for hot flashes and they absolutely do the job and then some. I WAS using a Tupperware lid as my fan and decided to buy a pretty hand fan instead. I'm glad I went with these. Stunning design and they make a perfect cooling breeze. I just wanted to let people know that it's not a super soft silk at all. Of course the price no doubt alerts one to that fact haha.Don't let that chase you away from these, however. Please don't. They'll chase your hot flashes away and you'll look pretty doing so. I love my choice of these fans and am glad I got them. In person they're just stunning.

Out of the bag they can be kind of hard to open, but as you use them they get loose and becomes much easier. I used it for a convention to fan myself in cosplay and after two hours of opening and closing it to fan myself it was loose enough to easy open with a fling.

Lovely fans that are great for a cool breeze when out and about and cant access a fan. I take mine with me everywhere. I would buy again. Great quality material aswell.
