Ignite: A Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance (Inferno Force of the Drexian Warriors Book 1)

I have read this series on Kindle.. LOVE IT.. The audio version? Done exceptionally well!! I Even though one voice actor can do both sides really well, I have to say I definitely prefer having a male and female doing the parts!! And whew, temp goes up just listening to them during the "fun" scenes :)For this book, the MFC and the MMC do not want to fall in love. They have their own goals and being matched up isn't one of them. Things get a bit dicey, as they do out where they are, and they are thrown together and realize that their tempers at each other are just there to hide the attraction they deny. Til they can't deny anyore... :)

Zoey is the architect tasked with designing the new space-station for Drexian brides.Kalex is the captain in charge of the space station, and Zoey is a pain in his behind.The two of them butt heads at the best of times, but soon those passionate feelings take a romantic turn.Zoey and Kalex both have a little trauma in their pasts that have led them to where they are, and it takes a little time for them to overcome it.Kalex is a typical, controlling Drexian, but Zoey is no pushover. She’s a powerful woman who has had to fight to make her way in the world, and it makes for the perfect match.While this is the first in the Inferno Force series featuring the Drexians, many of the side characters have appeared in the Tribute Bride series. It’s not necessary to have read those first, just a little more advantageous as far as setting the scene goes.There is a little action in this book, a lot of romance, and plenty of adventure.Recommended for those who love sci-fi romance.

I have become a fan of Tana Stone. This series starts with a bang, I enjoyed the characters and the banter. The story brings a bit of action and steamy frustration between the characters. What I liked the most, the heroine is well developed, independent, strong and very intelligent. I’m happy to see this isn’t a damsel in distress type of plot and I’m looking forward to more.

I LOVE Tana Stone. I've read everything she's written. But this first book in the Inferno Force series left me feeling blah. The main female character is like nails on a chalkboard. She's piercing and loud and just plain unlikeable. The Hero is basically a male version of the Heroine. Stomping around and shouting and tantruming. There was no real story. Zero spice. I felt no connection between the characters and I truly hated the female so much that I couldn't stay plugged into the story.It took me reading until Book #4 until I really started to enjoy this series. The original concept of the "brides" and the hilarious dating games and mating play was what drew me to the Drexians. I really don't care about the human peons behind the scenes working on the ship. I know that sounds terrible but... I prefer the funny interplay and romance of the first books.

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next in the series. I liked how both Zoey and Kalex had issues, but not such terrible issues that magically disappeared when they fell in love.

Having just finished the Tribute bride series, I looked looked forward to continuing through these paranormal alien tales where the heroines are varied, and usually aren't eager to become lifelong mates for these gorgeous aliens. The background has changed so that the earth women can choose to pursue these alien hunks since all of the cards are shown and the mating transaction has to be with the consent of both parties. So far, so good!

This is a nice start to a series. Miss Tana Stone can write a great story to take you to a far away place.

I have loved all of the Drexian books! I am so happy to be back into this world. I hope we get to read many more books about this amazing and sexy species.Kalex doesn’t want a human bride at all. Zoey is there to work on the new space station and then return home. Her fiance was in the armed services and was killed so she doesn't want to ever fall for another man again.These two do nothing except argue and annoy each other.Read to find out what causes a change. Also find out what the Kronock are up to now.

Great story telling Tana l loved every minute of this book ,and I have read most of your other books as well and truly found them irresistible i can't put them down and would recommend them to everyone,they're fun sexy and exciting i enjoyed them so much that I will even 're read them several more times and never get tired of them ,can't wait to read the next book in this series

Ill admit it took me a little while to get into the style of writing, but when I did I couldn’t help getting swept up in it. I also appreciated the, girl taking what she wanted for a change. Good, easy read. Engaging, and fun.

Excellent start to this spin off series looks like things are going to be just as interesting as the tribute series.
