I found some scrunchie brand ones that I loved and couldn't find anymore. These look and feel identical. Best hair ties I've ever used and I have long hair that tends to tangle super easy. But, these hair ties don't get stuck or pull my hair. I see some reviews say they stretch out after some use. They do, but just as your hair gets build up I believe these do too. I'm surprised more people don't wash these. I like to wash with just a dot of Dawn dish soap because it's a grease cutter and my hair can get a bit greasy. After a wash & hang to dry they're no longer stretched out and look new again. Will buy more! Everyone who uses them loves them. Christmas presents & stocking stuffers!

My hair is like that of Olivia Colman as Queen Anne in the movie The Favourite. These hair ties hold my buns up on my head or down by my neck, and they are beautiful at the end of braids. They keep my hair in place during hiking, yard work, and cleaning. Only one (a black one) of the seven or so I've used has lost its shape/tightness, but it is still usable, just requires an additional go around. Not a single one has snapped apart like other, more expensive, store bought brands have. I bought a second bag because I was worried these would not be available one day. I now have enough hair ties for the next 20 plus years, lol. If they ever have a bag with different colors, I'll be buying another set.

Ok, truth be told, I did not get 40. I only got 32. Someone dumped all of my hair ties into an Amazon padded envelope, and tossed in the empty clear cellophane envelope. Missing were 8 - 4 in deep red and 4 in plum color. Pretty ones missing. BUT, I've been using the same band every day for my braid, ponytail and putting hair on top of my head. It has not stretched like elastic ties, it is the same size as all my new ones. Why wouldn't you order these just for that reason, but here's another: removing it from your hair DOES NOT PULL OUT YOUR HAIR. I love these bands. I'd consider ordering more, but I do have 31 remaining and that should last me a very long time. I do have thick, curly hair, that is half-way down my back. ENJOY!

These popped up on my Amazon page and they were such a good deal, I decided to try them. I had been using the spiral- type ones that people wear as bracelets. Those work well for me but are kind of bulky. I’m so glad I tried these because they work so well and are so much less bulky than the spiral ones. I have a good amount of hair that’s gotten more wavy the older I get. These stretch well and hold well. There are so many for such a good price that even if they stretch out over time, they’re still a great value. I haven’t washed any yet to see if they will regain they’re stretchability with a washing and drying, but I’m thinking they might. If not, still a great value!
