Really Impressed So Far :)
In my intial tests and first real world use I've found this set to be pretty flawless. It's easy to set up, sounds great and seems to work at pretty great distances without drop outs, even with the 1/4 waves. The only problem I had intially is that this set was missing it's lavalier mic. I checked everywhere in the box, and it just was not there. I contacted the folks at Kellard's though, and they sent me one within a few days. Excellent customer service!I definitely recommend this mic, and seller, but also recommend researching the available frequencies in your area to purchase the right channel set. One thing I've learned is that you can buy the best mics, but if you're working in a channel range that's too crowded you're gonna have a bad time.

Top of the line
In my experience, Sennheiser is the top of the line and has been that way for about 50 years. Have tried other brands and types of wireless mics but wasted my money.Be forewarned, however, that the EW-D receiver is only ONE receiver (in spite of two antennas) and receives only ONE transmitter at a time so getting only this kit means you can only use one microphone at a time. Spend the $300 and get another receiver.Having said that, I had an initial technical glitch when attempting a firmware update to the EW-D receiver. It lost the Bluetooth connection on the Smart Assist phone app, and from everything I could tell, had bricked. However, the blue link indicator was blinking (a clue!). Contacted Sennheiser and they got back the next morning with some pointers. The issue was a "corrupted device". So, to fix it (1) remove the bad Bluetooth link (unlink) between the receiver from the phone, (2) on the Smart Assist home page, tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select "update devices", the next screen shows the update screen with a "corrupted device" message. Tap the corrupted device message and the firmware update should start running and now has a % count and a spinning circle busy symbol showing. Wait a few minutes and it should say "Done" and the front panel on the receiver should be back to normal. However, the receiver will have done a factory default reset so it will need to be configured again.
