Heard about this on TikTok and I decided to check it out. Lots of discussions about temporary packaging due to shortages and high demand everywhere I looked. This packaging is terrible and just sloppy. The sponge soap is wrapped in a cardboard and then placed inside a plastic cellophane wrapper… the yucky part is the cardboard is damp(?) and discolored from either the moisture of the sponge or the oils from the soap and is stuck to the bar. It’s rather disgusting and I wouldn’t buy this off a shelf in a store looking like this. I have no way of knowing if this is genuine because I haven’t used this product before, so I don’t know what to compare it to; but also I have seen mentions of this temporary packaging all over the internet while shopping for this product. But I digress… The soap sponge itself looks of good quality. It’s sort of soft and slightly squishy right out of the box before getting wet. Smell is very soapy but pleasant; reminds me of Dove brand soap smell but not nearly as perfumed. I see people commenting that they use this on their face but I wouldn’t suggest starting there. I used it on the backs of my arms first and found it to be highly exfoliating which is what I was looking for. The soap feels really gritty and this is amplified by the sponge aspect, I think it will really help to exfoliate my skin. After using, my skin is soft and not over-dry, but I will not be using this on my face. Lathers well. Depending on how this works in the long term, I would buy this product again.

I can not stop ranting and raving on this product, I first started purchasing this at my local Walgreens . That is until I found that Amazon sold it for a WAY better price. I am absolutely obsessed with this sponge. It a sponge with a built in soap/body scrub in it. You just wet it a little and scrub/exfoliate your body in the shower. It truly helps reduce any dark spots, such as armpits, in between the legs, neck, etc. I have truly seen a tremendous difference in my skin since using this product. This is the best my skin has felt and looked in a while. I am super sensitive to a lot of soaps and skin care products, but I have never had any issues with this one. It doesn't have much of a scent, the little that it does just smells fresh and clean.

I bought this thinking it would help me with some dark spots that I have. I've read some reviews saying that it did help some people lighten dark spots especially the neck. My spots aren't super dark that's it why I bought this product thinking it would work. It did nothing for me in the aspect of whitening but I will say thou that it did exfoliate my skin and left it feeling really smooth. I have some dry spots in my face so I did try to avoid those areas when using it for the oily parts it did wonders. Would I recommend as a whitening product no but as a exfoliator, yes. Just to clarify I did use a couple of this sponges not just the two that came on the package.

this is just a regular soap with very light exfoliation from the sponge. A net or a loofah could do a better job. It does not lighten any sorts of hyperpigmentation, scars, NOTHING as advertised, ONLY CLEANS. not worth the money, nor would I buy again.
