I am 5-11, weight 160#, and have a 31 inch waist (people who are proportioned differently may have a different fit). The fit is totally NON baggy without being skin tight (which was the fit I was looking for). I purchased these as even though I have large quads, most swimsuits have leg openings that are far too big for even my larger than average quads. The leg opening are smaller without being tight to the skin (I am 60 and even though I am in good shape, I certainly wouldn't wear a skin tight swimsuit to the beach).

Nope. If the soldier is at attention, pretty much every one will notice.

Q: are they 5 inch or 7 inch?

I believe they were advertised as 7". However, I'd call them 5". I really like the fit. This is my third pair.
