I have had this in for over a year with no problem. I used a hammer drill to put the anchors in. As long as you put the umbrella down in high winds I don’t see having any issues.

I got a large wire spool for my patio and wanted to add an umbrella. Spool is 60# across and the hole in the center is 3# so I can drop an umbrella in but it flops around and goes in too deep. Purchased one of these mounts, removed the set screws and inverted it into the hole of the spool and placed the sizing caps in the bottom and mounted it to the surface. Pole slides down perfectly, holds in the wind without issue and the crank for the umbrella is at the perfect height.

This worked great for our large off set umbrella.

Treat the screws with WD40 or grease.

I bought and fell in love with one of these fixed holders last year but unfortunately it wasn't big enough to hold my new 9x15 foot umbrella. I wanted the exact same thing up for 2" pole diameter and this fit the need while being very easy to install. I'm pretty sure my entire porch could blow away and this would stay firmly attached lol. It remains to be seen if it is as sturdy as it seems but I have a sense already that it's going to survive the rigors just fine.

Not happy. This product does not fit the in-ground umbrella base made by the same company.

Heavier gauge steel than I was expecting. Plastic bushings for various pole sizes.Several days of over 30 mph winds with no movement. (umbrella furled)

Just what I was needing it’s perfect and does the job

VERY well built, VERY easy to install. Well coated, whacked it a couple of times with a ratchet handle during install and no marks ! Measure twice, install once. Used in consort with a Vanroug Heavy Duty wall mount bracket so it is bolted to the deck AND braced a couple of feet above the unit to the deck rail. Lots of wind on the West Coast and nothing is going anywhere with this combination and a furled 'brella... Extra "bits" included could come in handy depending on your application.

Only had this 6 weeks and it's already rusted. How do I send this back for a refund

Very good quality except the screws that secure the umbrella to the base are not galvanized and started to rust from day 1. By next season they will be rusted solid.
