The honeysuckle scent is artificial, overpowering and lingers long. The moisturizing effect on my skin is great though. Will only reorder in a different scent.

This body wash lathers well and does seem to be moisturising. If it wasn't for the fragrance it would be great. It's overwhelming and even lingers in my shower.

I have dry skin that gets very itchy at times. I'm finding that as I'm getting on in my late 30s my skin is changing and it's needs is changing. I have been in a quest to finding better and simple skin, hair and bodycare. I was using african black soap before and actually loved that it had natural ingredients, but didn't realize all soaps tend to be more alkaline and so not helpful if you already have dry skin. I therfore started searching for a body wash that has a good Ph balance for my skin. Came across a few, but wanted to try this one as it has fewer ingredients. I'm so pleased with it, it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft and not stripped. I use Curel after this to moisturize and at times add sweet almond oil if my skin is feeling particularly dry that day. I haven't used it for my hair yet, I have afro natural 4c hair that does lose moisture really quickly so will update my review if/when I try this for my hair.

If you are looking for a ph balanced soap as this claims to be, keep looking as this is not it. Also, the "fragrance" - whatever is used to generate it, is a little strong and hard to get off the skin so if you don't like it, you will be unhappy for a while. As for "pure", seems like the majority of the ingredients in this soap are some kind of chemical. If none of this bothers you, you will probably like the soap.

I have very sensitive, dry skin, and am prone to eczema. I'm rarely able to use soaps or body washes that smell nice because they cause hives or just make my skin dry and itchy, often leading to an eczema flare up. This product smells fantastic and does not irritate my skin at all. I've used it for several months and my skin feels soft and moisturized. No itching, no hives, and no eczema. And you don't need to use very much so the bottle lasts a long time.

I tried this soap for a couple of days but the scent is very strong. I have sensitive skin and it irritated my skin.

My husband has very dry skin and scalp. In past years we had to run a humidifier in the winter to help with this. After switching to your shampoo we realized we hadn’t had to run the hunidifier all winter. Great product. Have recommended to friends and family.
