Solved my starter clicking problem.
This seemed to have solved my starter clicking problem. I would occassionally get the starter clicking but not cranking over with a charged batter. This solved the issue, easy to install.

When the only starting sound is one little "Click", Ball Peen hammer =quick fix, this product was the correct long term repair.
I had two problems with my 2006 Dodge 3500 Cummins powered MegaCab: #1 it decided to not start one very cold morning, and at the same time the check engine light decided to come on (did my best Yosemite Sam cursing routine). Researched the problem online, but prior experience with other vehicles told me it was the solenoid. Found LarryB's part and the outstanding reviews, so ordered and left the truck in the carport for a few days. I ordered the part on the 12th and it was delivered on the 15th (great response for a non-Prime item).Got out the ball peen hammer and banged on the starter while Workin Grandma turned the key and the truck started up. That little trick allowed me to move the truck into the garage (and concrete floor instead of dirt). I did all the work from underneath, and yes, one of the three bolts is hard to reach but even this arthritic 69 year old got it done (not without a few "Choice" words).Installing the new parts was no problem, but I have one caution for all who try this, watch out for that one little ball bearing at the end of the shaft, if it falls out you may end up having to move cabinets to find it when it rolls 12 feet across the floor (more "Choice" words). Lifting the starter back into place was not too much of a hassle, and having solved the "which wrench to use" problem when pulling it out, made the going back in easy by comparison. The starter worked fine the first time and now, a month later, is still going strong.Oh, the second problem... the check engine light generated a code that said my water temp was high (it was freezing outside). Research revealed that the water temp sensor or wiring was the problem. After finding the unit one look showed where the problem was. It seems that the Black and Grey squirrels (front half black, rear half grey) had decided the sensor wires were for chewing. A little splicing with crimp connectors and I was back in business.

Good in some cases
Great product. Might work in some cases. I’d suggest just buying a new starter, the other components within starter will still be worn even if this helps you may find yourself stranded again not too far down the road. I did a full clean and rebuild and only got a few starts before it died again..

Great fix
This is the proper way to fix your Denso starter. This solved the random "click" on my Dodge. I also have used it on my 4BT in the past. I can't say enough good things about LarryB products. I ordered Tuesday morning. It shipped from Washington state. I received it Thursday afternoon and immediately installed it. Can't beat it!
