This book is SOOOO CUTE! I'm picky about books and this one makes the cut!! Perfect for any Grandma who bakes with their grandchildren! It even has a cute line that is repeated throughout the book like a mantra - "It's baking day, it's baking day, it's baking day at Grandma's!" which can be read in a sing-songy way, making the children excited to say it along with you! LOVE THIS BOOK! Fun for 3 year olds and 7 year olds, makes a GREAT gift! Such a good find, I'm very please with this order!

My baby ended up ripping a page out in our soft book, so I bought the board book. It's our favorite book to read every night before bed. We sing the "It's baking day, it's baking day, it's baking day at...Momma's!" line each and every time. Best book on the shelf!

My kiddo and I both love this book! She actually is trying to read it herself and recalling the story. I have been getting them for presents for people. The illustrations are fun, the story is adorable, and there is a surprise at the end of the book to make special memories.

This little classic is easily digested by those who have found memories of cooking with their Grandmother or loved ones when growing up. The excitement and pure pleasure of getting to lick the spoon is just a bonus while waiting for the treats to get out of the oven. Not only does this book help children to learn to read with rhymes, it also teaches them the importance of sharing as they package the goodies to give to others. The children are not only exposed to the process of cooking, but there is also an opportunity to try it at home and to start your own family tradition by using the recipe that is included in this book to make and share "Grandma Rosie's Chocolate Cake!" The illustrations of this beautiful story are both bright and expressive.

For some reason, my two grandsons LOVE this book, especially if I sing the recurring theme. And I'm their grandfather! Both boys are about a year old, but the whole text is interesting enough to "grow" with them. (For example, they now notice that, like Grandma, I too wear reading glasses!). Anyway, thanks Anika Denise for a lovely little story.

I'll be a first time grandma in a couple of months, and I am an avid baker. Can't wait to get little Henry in the kitchen with me. This book will be a favorite.

Bought this for my sister and her 2 grand daughters . They love doing things in the kitchen together . This book was a hit !
