CARLOCK OBD Slim Extension Cable

This is a simple and low-profile extension for the OBD port in my car and makes it easier to read the screens on scanners that may have cords that are not quite long enough to be convenient. It popped in place in a minute and fit perfectly.

Work great! Perfect to hide carlock unit away from port. And it works just the same or I think better than direct port connection.

Installed a GPS tracker on my daughters car as she travels with her job and I wanted to keep tabs on her (with her permission). The factory OBD port was almost flush with the inside of the plastice cover. This extension cable allowed me the route the port up under the dash and out of sight. Very high quality product that will work in many applications. Exactly what I needed to make this GPS tracker install. Highly recommed.

This cord looks a little flimsy, but works perfectly. I bought it to hide a carlock gps tracker in my car. I dismounted the vehicles DLC plug and tucked the unit high up inside the dash near the A pillar. It works perfectly, and is impossible to detect unless you look under the dash and find the DLC.

This item is a must have if your OBD port is located in an area near your knees which is both visible to thieves and prone to being knocked into by your knees. With this extension cable, you can kill two birds with one stone. This allows you to hide your CarLock device somewhere so that thieves will have difficulty finding your CarLock device and/or removing it. It also allows you to move your CarLock device out of the way of your knees. For an added layer of security, you can also dismount your OBD port and conceal it in your steering column, then put a dummy OBD port in its place. This will make it extremely difficult for a thief to realize and/or find the location of your CarLock device.

I got this extender as the carlock device when plugged into my OBD port was very visible, this allowed me to hide the device under my dashboard. Easy to use and great for visible obd ports.

Funziona. Il mio scopo è poter collegare una spina ingombrante del terminale OBDII alla presa della mia automobile ogni 2-3 di settimane senza scardinare il portadocumenti ogni volta. Lascio la prolunga sempre collegata e la presa resta nel portadocumenti. Malfunzionamenti finora non ne ho avuti, per l'uso che ne faccio non credo di poter valutare la tenuta nel tempo, ma il materiale non mi sembra male.
