The adhesive on this product is extremely weak. It does not hold, so if you are looking for a peel and stick, this is definitely not it. Having that said, I had read the reviews, and I knew that I would have to use other methods in order for this to stick where I needed it to be. This was to fill a 1/2 inch offset gap at the top of my garage door (inside). I cleaned the surface well, snipped off about a 1 inch piece and tested it: within 5 min-as expected - it fell. I then applied clear gorilla glue along the back side, and tacked in small nail brads from the front and made it flush to secure. I let the glue cure for about 2 hrs, before closing, and it has held very nicely by performing this modification. Doing this in the winter I Amit was a pain Howe It is December, and anything to block the sunlight getting through is what I strictly had intended it to do in the first place. Sunlight= Hot air in the summer, cold air in the winter! So now, I don’t see any sunlight during the day, which means that it has been sealed. We’ve now ran the door I’d say close to 50 x, and the seal is holding up very well…. But again: the adhesive is extremely weak! Get yourself some gorilla glue or fast adhesion epoxy, and some tack brads, so you don’t end up, making this an all day affair. Good luck!

Would have liked it to be a little more "heavy duty"...niot sure how to say it... but it works as described and the adhesive has held up!!

The given size of 3.94x.98x3.94 inches makes no sense at all. It is how many feet you buy with a width and height of about .55 inches. It seems to be a good product, but I will have to replace it with something smaller as I can barely open and close my door due to its thickness.

Check gap you need to fill !!!

People complain about this product smelling pretty bad. It does smell, but it only lasts for one dayOverall, is very good I think the adhesive could be a little bit stronger and a little bit wider.

Would be a great product if it actually would adhere.

This product works well for keeping out drafts and is very easy to use, just peel, stick it down and close the window or door. I am very happy with this purchase.

Purchase the material to insulate a gap on my top garage. When the door is lowered, I can see sunlight coming in and that would also mean cold air during the winter. Installation was easy, wipe down the area with a brake clean/parts solvent, let the surface dries. The installation temperature was 25C. went on easy, the adhesive is OK, but not super strong. At both ends, and in the middle, I added genuine 3M two-sided tape and it held up great. After installation, no sun ray was seen inside of the garage, good product, recommended.
