I purchased size M for my son, who is almost 8 years old. He’s average height & weight - 50” tall and 53lbs. I had to exchange for size L because it’s cold in our area for Halloween & it was snug enough that I didn’t think he’d be able to wear warm clothes underneath. If it’s warm where you live, it probably runs true to size. One complaint is that they eyes/nose do not actually line up with his facial features - they’re too high - but it doesn’t affect function.

It looks exactly like the picture but you guys should consider cutting eyes and nose part out. That's dangerous.

For reference, I bought a small (5-7 years old). My son is four but a very tall four (45in tall and 58lbs). He passes for a six year old daily so the age estimate on the sizing is pretty accurate. It’s soft and fits well with a little room for him to grow. The head covering is attached in the front and has a Velcro closure from the top of the head to the neck. The fingers are EXTRA long for an added creepy look. I’m definitely the coolest mom on the planet after buying this for him LOL

My youngest son really did love and enjoy the costume and did some Halloween pranks on some of the family of scaring them. Which worked. Lol. Although the fabric is very thin it'd be best to buy a thermal under clothes for this costume in order to stay warm also covers from head to toe so it's your choice to wear shoes over or walk around barefoot.

I used the body suit for my son’s Demogorgon Stranger Things costume and it was exactly what we wanted! It fit perfectly and the material was surprisingly good quality! Very stretchy and silky. My son loved it and didn’t want to change out of it after trick or treating.

The fit was spot on - it hugged my body perfectly and didn't feel too tight or too loose. The material was stretchy, which made it easy to move around in, and the velcro at the back made it easy to get in and out of.
