A bit on the pricey side, but it's beautiful, sturdy, and the cats really enjoy it (tip: I saved our Amazon points so I ended up paying $2 and change)! We have so many cat trees and this one is the best because it's not an eyesore and actually fits with our decor better. I love that both baskets are strong and do not wobble so that means the cats will actually use them. The pads are super nice and plush and the legit branches are unique, fun, and beautiful to look at. The company knows that the best way to get cats to use the tree right away is to sprinkle it with catnip so a small packet of catnip was included and I love that detail. It was packaged well, super easy to assemble by myself; top to bottom, this is the best cat tree we've ever bought --hopefully it will last for a long time. The only slight ding is that the baskets are a little too close together so the lower basket is partially under the higher basket --I also couldn't get the dangle toys to be in the front. Despite rotating the two branches that the baskets sit atop, the lower basket is always a little under the taller basket. Not the end of the world, but something I wish were adjustable (same for the dangle toys, they're in the back and not able to adjust or change locations so they likely won't get much use). Would be nice if there were multiple rings under the basket and the toys were attached by rings that could detach so you could move them to better locations after assembly.

Okay, it's a few bucks more than I wanted to spend but the cats love these things so much that it was worth it. The cats walked by them for the first two weeks. They wouldn't' even look. Next thing I know I can't get them out. They LOVE this thing. It's the first place I look when I'm doing a head count. The bowls have that perfect shape cats like, where their backs are always hugged. They can't stretch out long in them, but they can sit up or in the meatloaf position. The bowl basket things are well made. The whole thing is solid, actually. The two posts are solid wood branches and the base is solid. Funny thing - the cats have never gone into the cubby hole underneath, so i use it for storage. It comes with these two big furry, fluffy, soft, long haired pillows that go in the bowl, but mine have some nice towels on top of them because the cats are not sure about the hairy pillows. They won't even bat at them to see if they're alive. They work great underneath, though. It's good looking furniture, too. I can picture it in any kind of house - trailer, mansion, I honestly think they won't clash anywhere. My opinion. Easy to assemble, easy to move if you have to. But solid. Sometimes two cats will share a single bowl. I like how one bowl is higher than the other for the alpha to claim, but overlap slightly and take up less horizontal space

I’m coming up to year four with this cat tree in a multi large cat home. My cats spend majority of their day sleeping in the baskets. They don’t care much for the little hideout on the bottom, but that’s preference. This is the best cat tree I’ve ever owned. For a cat tree, it’s ’better looking’ than most but it also holds up. It’s very durable and takes the beating of my cats flying in and out of it all day and scratching it apart. The quality is unmatched and worth the money. I highly recommend this cat tree!

My cat is obsessed! I was worried my cat wouldn't use this, but they climbed on it as soon as I finished building it. Assembly was straightforward and took about 20 minutes. It feels sturdy even when my cat jumps to the top perch. The scratching posts are a huge bonus and have saved my furniture. Great buy!

It's a beautiful piece of cat furniture that my cats were using within minutes, but there are some minor drawbacks. First, getting the hut together was a frustrating experience. It has 3 supports inside, to prop up the "roof" and anchor one of the tree limbs, but all the fur makes lining up the post holes and bolts a pain. But it seems sturdy, once it's all together. My pair of beds do not have the dramatic difference in heights that you see in the display image. The beds are quite close to one another, and they would be touching if I were to spin one of them. It's still very appealing to look at, and my cats don't seem to mind. Finally, I'm not a big fan of the synthetic fiber fur-lined pads that it came with. My other cat tree from MAU used a cotton blend type of bed, and I wish this model came with something similar. I may switch it out with something less irritating to the skin. But again, my cats seem to be able to sleep on it, so maybe it's just me. I'm not sorry I bought it and I don't think you will be either... if you can get past the sticker shock.

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful cat tree available. I've received many compliments on how nice it looks. I really thought we were doomed to live out the rest of our lives as cat owners with an ugly carpet pole in our living room. I am relieved that is not the case! Not only is it pretty, but it seems well made and the little cushions are so cozy. My cats LOVE this thing. They are always in the baskets. I've only really seen my kitten using the hidey hole and I've never seen any of them use the scratching sections. It seems like they are positioned too low. I would definitely recommend an alternative scratching post to compliment it. Other than that, the amount of times they nap on it leads me to believe it's the most comfortable cat tree we have owned. It's a gamble buying items for these finicky creatures. 80% of the things I bring home go unused, and my cats look at me with complete disdain. It's a humbling experience. This one was a winner! I do have some cons. The first is that I basically no longer have lap cats. If I'm upstairs, they are in their baskets snuggling. Before the cat tree, they'd be on mine and my husband's laps. It's unfortunate for me, but I'm glad they seem to really love and enjoy it. Especially considering the price tag. The second con is that I do wish there was a bare wood option with a 3rd taller branch and 3rd basket. I do wish the tree was taller in general, but I also have more than 2 cats that want to enjoy it together. All in all, my cats and I are extremely happy with this purchase, and I do plan to buy a second one for a lower level of our house!

Having furniture for your cat is important, but I was sick of the usual look of cat trees. I moved into a new home and wanted something that actually complements the room. Decided to shell out more money than I'm usually comfortable with, and WOW I'm glad I did. Picture is of the Mau tree on our living room next to the kitchen. I love love love the look of it and I can't imagine the room without it. I did make a slight alterations to the cave opening, using an extra cushion I ordered from Mau, because my cat likes to hide when guests come over. It took about a month for my cat to get used to it, but now she scritchy-scratches it all the time and plops into one of the baskets whenever I cook in the kitchen. It is heavy, but I personally have no problem carrying it around. I had to take it upstairs at one point and it was no big deal. The weight makes it more stable. If you need to move it, the trick is to get a good grip on the lower branch with one hand, and grip onto under the base with your other hand. The assembly did make me scratch my head a bit. Placing the three supports in the cave straight without it appearing a bit "twisted" was a challenge. Make sure you are only loosely setting the screws at first, then when they're all in, gradually tighten each one a bit of a time in a circle until all sufficiently tightened.

First, let me say that my cat loves this cat condo. He spends quite a bit of time in it, including hanging out inside the condo right now. I'd love to give this 5 stars, but one of the baskets fell apart within a day of my setting it up (these were screws that were put in at the manufacturer, not by me). The screws fell out. I had to purchase some slightly longer and wider screws and get the basket back on its pole. I was diappointed this happened less than 24 hours after I initially after put the condo together. It looks OK in my living room and other than the basket issue seems to be reasonably well put together. The interior poles weren't that difficult to put in despite what some other reviewers have indicated.
