Gator ETX Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | 53311 | Fits 2008 - 2016 Ford F-250/350/450 Super Duty 6' 9" Bed (81")

Love this cover. Works great with my fifth wheel since it rolls up and stores securely. A hard top or foldable wouldn't work, I need the open space to pull my trailer. It was very easy to install, just needed a 1/2" socket and channel locks to secure the clamps. I installed mine on the loosest setting and haven't moved it since (summer) and haven't had an issue. Hopefully this will be fine in the winter. I would recommend moving the clamp closer to the tailgate than the directions show, simply to secure the end where you have to push down pretty hard to snap the cover down to close it. Other than that, the mount and cover went right in without an issue. Will definitely purchase from this manufacturer again! Update: Moving the last clamp closer to the tailgate didn't help in the end. After opening/closing the cover a few times, the rail slid down far enough where it wouldn't close properly. I ended up drilling a hole through the cover rail and truck steel where they come together. I added a 1/4" bolt (there isn't much room) with two flat washers, lock washer and nut to old the cover rail in place. So far this hasn't caused any issues. I believe the manufacturer notes there isn't any drilling (or some similar wording) required. This is correct, but you'll have to tighten the back left clamp after opening/closing the cover every few times. I stand by the above comment about purchasing again, the added work took maybe 5 minutes.

I really like this cover and it was easy to install with minimal tools! The quality appears to be very good and it fit my truck perfectly! No complaints on durability.....It appears to be made of top quality materials and they give you a super warranty!! I just haven’t had it on the truck long enough to know how Durable it is going to be! (Hence the Neutral rating)...It does not ‘flap’ much going down the highway and seals well! Only very small amount of water got in during an 1 1/2”rain, in the front corners!

We have been using this truck cover for a few months now for my husband’s work truck and he loves it. The quality of this product is very good and I’m glad we were able to find this option at a more affordable price. My husband had no issues putting the cover together and months later it is still in good condition and working properly.

I highly recommend this bed cover!! This is the third roll up bed cover I’ve purchased and installed. I’ve had it in for only few days and like it more than the previous two, put together. The installation was simple, even on a cold January day. The track Velcro is installed inside the track. My previous bed covers had Velcro ‘tape’ stuck to the track. For me, this was a ‘significant’ upgrade. That wasn’t the only upgrade, but the one that caught my attention the most.

The Gator ETC soft roll up cover is a decent cover for the price. The instructions are a bit confusing as the installation of the tension block (in step 7) really should happen after installing the cover (in step 8 & 9). The graphic in step 7 even shows the cover installed which doesn't happen until later. The locking mechanism on mine does not work very well. I need to hold the locking bar in place while I close to cover in order for it to latch. Other covers I've used latch automatically without having to hold the latch in place. For the price paid for this cover, it is a decent cover, looks great and will suit my needs for now.

Excellent Cover. We bought this 5 years ago and it's still in great condition parked outside in the Hawaiian sunshine. If you know anything about the UV in Hawaii, you know it's the worst at 19°N latitude and anything that can hold up to it is very impressive. We bought another brand 2 years earlier that was a hybrid hard roll up and relativity far more expensive (the X_), it only last a year and we got a replacement under warranty that only lasted another year so we gave up on that useless cover and got this one. These are great covers!

I purchased this cover for my F250 Superduty and it fits like a glove. I was able to install the hardware and cover by myself in about 30 minutes. This cover is not waterproof, but it does keep 99% percent of rain out of the bed. A very nice cover for the price.

This is on my 2012 F350 8' bed. It is easy to install. It is the second truck that I have put one on so it was a no brainer for me. You see a lot of these style covers loose on people's trucks they are often not installed tightly or adjusted to keep it tight over time.
