I wear when use a mandoline. Keeps fingers safer than not wearing gloves. Good quality gloves. Only complaint is buckle to close on wrist is not adjustable.

I’m a clumsy home cook with a tremor in my hands. I tend to slip and jerk unexpectedly and have cut myself many times. I purchased this glove along with some stainless steel finger guards. This glove is by far the best and most practical It stays in place on small hands, machine washable and easy to hang near the cutting board area for easy access I have not cut myself while using this glove. I have slipped and jerked a few times but the glove did the job and protected my fingers. Now keep in mind this is not a perfect solution. You can still cut/stab through this glove, but if you are someone like me who has a physical issue or you are teaching young people how to use knives, this is a great choice

A must have especially if you own a stiff & sharp folder! However, recommend two! Do not think of only using when sharpening knives, use when handling em. Super flexible and comfortable to use. Seem run a little large , but does not interrupt use. These are one of those nice to have available type items. Do not need 24/7 m, however, when you need it it’s available! Like a hammer, do Not use all the time but when you need it it’s available. Sure beats cutting a finger off!

Would definitely recommend for those of you that nick yourselves a lot when cutting. My partner is very clumsy and gets herself a lot. This gives both of us a peace of mind when she won’t let me cut things for her lol. Follow the hand measurements guide for the perfect fitting glove! Fits to the tee.

The glove is adequate protection from a severe cut that can occur so easily. Safety first with anything sharp, please.

Gift for my son who accidently sliced his fingers while using a mandolin. He very was excited to receive this item. Liked that it was dishwasher cleanable. Value for the money. Great for a chef gift.

Important note: This glove is "Cut Resistant" not cut proof. Like those written below I thought I was living a grand new experience and throwing all caution to the wind, I used my newly begloved left hand as a clamp whilst chiseling on a 3D print with the right. Don't do this. The spiral of dark red swirling down my drain is a testament to the fact that this glove is not cut proof and all normal precautions should be taken when carving! While the steel wool fabric is certainly novel, ant certainly cut resistant as advertised l, I'm pretty sure a heavy leather glove would protect just as well or better. Heart beating in my thumb...
