Quality has gone way down
Love EK products, stand by them, promote them....but I feel like the quality of these have plummeted. I have installed plenty of these AIOs since release and have not had an issue until today. The pump/water block bracket screw holes seemed to have no threads, one of the screws just fell in, would not tighten, was also similar on one of the other mounting points. I don't know if this was a previous return and someone else jacked up the threads but this isn't the quality I know from EK. I had to make it work and I hope my solution holds up for my client. Must say I'm a little disappointed with this one....

Much better temps
Put this 280 in to replace a 240 which just wasn't quite cooling the 5950X like I wanted. Once I got this setup temps are 8-10C deg cooler. I have an AIO header on this board which runs pump at 100% only the fans are connected to the cpu pwm connector which does make some noise when the cpu goes above 50C but doesn't stay long unless am encoding/editing. If you've got a toasty cpu to tame this should do it.

Make sure your case can handle 280 or you'll be disappointed
Let me preface this review by saying EK is some of the best out of the box quality stuff you will ever use. Aside from the slightly noisy fans and the small amount of gurgling from the pump on startup, this unit is top notch. It cools, it's fairly quiet, looks great, and is well made (not fans).I bought this for a build to squeeze some extra cooling into a smaller space. Big mistake!! Apparently most case manufacturers are on the 120 scale (ie 120, 240, 360mm) and the AIO setups that go with them. 280 (140x2) means the radiator is a little wider and the fans are too. The fans are also slightly thicker, which leads to some fitment on mid and more compact towers in the front and back panel configurations. I had to switch cases 3 times in order to find one that worked with the configuration I wanted ( all claimed to be compatible with 280mm). Which I came to find out means they have the correct bolt pattern. 2 of 3 only allowed for top mounting and one of those 2 didn't even give enough clearance to an ATX mobo to mount it in any position. After all that was sorted. The fans...if I could rank everything on this unit out 10 the fans would be a 2 and a 10 for literally everything else ( including the misc hardware). The fans feel cheap, had unfinished edges on the frame and blades, chatter at startup and use the 2 wire setup for power and led control (luckily case I ended up using had hubs for both). The only reason I gave them a 2/10 was they do move air efficiently so they don't sound like a jet engine on normal use. I have cranked them to max testing OCs and they might be loud but I can watch temps fall running cinebench.Last thing, the gurgle. This might be an isolated thing, air is air, and EK ain't making air. It took alot of patience and support to bleed the air bubbles out of the pump. It sounded like blowing bubbles in a cup of water thru a straw for awhile. I know AIOs are bad about trapped air but usually they work themselves out or some careful tilting will allow them to escape. I even contacted Customer Support @EK. They were helpful but I ended up having to remove the CPU block and run it on jumper hanging out of the case until it went silent then reinstalled it on the CPU. The case never moves or gets tilted but if I turn the PC off for a few days when I turn it back on I can hear the pump gurgle for a minute then it's silent.Would I recommend this to a novice PC builder, NO... Would I buy this again YES. But I think case manufacturers are still working out how to effectively fit it into their setups. A normal 360 AIO will fit nice into most mid towers now, but there are not as many 280 models out there so they are kind of the step child. EK is just ahead of the curve

Many issues
When I was first looking for a new cpu cooler many people recommended this for its price to performance. Now that I’ve had it for around a month I can say it’s the most overrated cooler I’ve came across. When I first got it everything looked fine however after installing everything and turning it on I heard a loud scraping noise, after taking it out it had turned out one of the fans was defective and the blade was scraping across the frame. After waiting a week without my pc I got the new fan and installed everything. Everything seemed fine however I leaned that this has the worst rgb controller known to man to the point where it was I count even control my fan speed in the software. And last but not least my fan rgb just stopped working and rgb on the pump. Absolute waste of money, just by an arctic 240mm instead of this juno

Great AIO for O11 Mini
Chose this 280mm AIO for my new pc build, EK has a long history of watercooling and is shows in this product. My Ryzen 5600x stays cool under full load. Bought a matching EK-Vader fan for the rear exhaust fan for my Lian Li O11 Mini and it turned out fantastic. Pictures don't do it justice.

280er AIO

Good cooling but some downsights
Tubing has weird bending when installing on the top, and one of the fans is wiggeling around because of inferior ball bearing; (Kugellager am Arsch)
