Decent
Yarn is decent. I then to wish yarn is a little softer but the color is the same as pictured and it does come in a normal bundle (decent amount to work with)

Buy it!
I used this yarn to make a Slytherin scarf for my daughter. It felt so soft sliding through my fingers and worked up beautifully. Definitely worth using for any project!

I love this yarn so much! L
The softness is my favorite quality. I wish the color change was quicker or shorter as the pink was too prominent in the afghan but overall the Scarfie rows were exquisite. I wish the price was lower as an entire afghan would be a dream. For now, that much Scarfie is out of reach for my budget.

Convenient
Quick note: Ochre/Navy is much nicer looking in person than in photos; the ochre is really more of a gold. I thought the color combo was ugly in pictures, but was pleasantly surprised when it started to work up.I went Scarfie crazy this season and made 4 scarves for friends with a fifth in progress (all different colors).First, the not so great: the color selection is small and I don't love the available blends. The ones I did love were unavailable everywhere. I'd love to see this come back in another season with expanded color selection. The spin quality is so-so; it is a little uneven with some tightly spun sections and others that are fluffy and bulky, and it likes to drop a fair amount of fiber. I noticed that the spin quality was inconsistent from skein to skein and don't know whether this had more to do with the colors or the lots. That said, it's a good value for the money, especially if you're making multiple scarves for gifts or sale. Even $10 full price is fair, because this really is enough to crochet or knit a whole scarf, depending on the stitch used. An openwork crochet stitch resulted in a very long scarf for me, and I found with a bulky stitch it's enough for a good-sized cowl. It's not difficult to create this ombre effect or to switch out yarn to do it yourself, but it's very convenient to have it all in one appropriately-sized skein. The wool content is high enough to make this feel soft and not like plastic, but low enough that it's still machine washable and dryable, which is great for the non-fiber artists of the world. I'm glad that the people wearing these scarves can treat them like any piece of clothing without worrying that they'll mess them up.

Nice results (soft and warm) with a nice ombre effect with long runs of color
I have made two crochet projects so far with Scarfie (a diagonal shawl for my younger daughter and a stylish scarf for my son-in-law.) The yarn is 78 percent acrylic and 22 percent wool. That works well for about half my family (the others are allergic to wool.) While I sometimes have issues with full wool products, I had none whatsoever with this percentage. The yarn is a simple twist of two fibers. It ombres back and forth between two colors and gives a really pleasing look to the finished projects.I found that the yarn as generally bulky but sometimes the twists were off and I ended up with a thin/thick yarn that varied between a 3 and a 5.I had one skein (out of the six I have purchased so far) that had a knot that changed colors abruptly and then, oddly, a place where the yarn was simply cut and not knotted. I was able to piece the yarn in properly as I had three skeins of it but had it been a one skein project, it would have ended up not looking as well as I would have hoped. That was enough for me to knock a star out of my review.I am already planning several more projects using this yarn. It has a nice hand feel and is long enough to complete a wide variety of scarf and cowl projects with one skein.

Lovely soft wool, just a little hairy.
Lovely soft wool more like an Aran than DK. Beautiful colours just a little loosely spun. I used for a crocheting project and it came up lovely but you had to make sure the hook went through each stitch as with it being a little loosely spun it was easy to miss some of the strands to a stitch. Quite thick and more like an Aran weight wool, very soft and warm.

Almost Perfect but.....
Lovely yarn to work with and nice and soft. But, many of the red/cranberry bits have black fluff kind of wound round them which is difficult to get off, and there seem to be a lot of knots/joins - I counted 9 in my skein! But overall I would recommend as the knots are almost indetectable if you trim the ends with tiny scissors

Poor quality
The yarn was really nice to crochet with to start with, and then the yarn got really thick in places, and almost like thread in others. It was impossible to continue using it. It was quite expensive at its normal selling price, so definitely not worth the money. A shame as the colours are really lovely.

Beautiful shades of denim blue.
Easy to knit with for a novice.Yarn does tend to fluff up a bit after wearing the item. But I guess most yarn like this would do.

One ball or two?
They say ONE ball is sufficient to knit a scarf, mine came up a bit shorter than I would have liked. The colour change is gradual unfortunately towards the end of my ball of yarn there was a knotted join and a sudden change in shade which gave a definite line in my finished scarf. However I would try this product again it's easy to knit with and comes in a good range of colours.
