Worth the money.
I also purchased the cut buddy shopping tool to compare the two personally I would say this one is my favorite. The design of this tool gave me more natural results. Also the item is transparent which makes it easy to see your hair underneath while using.

It does not shape the beard correctly and it is very time consuming
This product did not work for me. It is just collecting dust. You are better off going to the barber and getting a beard trim. Just my thoughts.

Groom yourself confidently
I just started wolfing and shave my own hair. Prior to buying this product my beard lines were crooked after each self cut. I had to visit the barber periodically to correct them. Now I hold the shaping tool against my beard and cut confidently without worrying about gouging out a spot when I switch from right to left hand. Works well with my clippers. Covers the hairs I want to protect and leaves the rest for the clipper to remove.
