Bought this gas cap for my Tundra and after a month of usage, I couldn't remove the cap. The inner locking mechanism was worn out. I had to rip it apart with pliers to remove it!!!! I DO NOT recommend this product!!!

I couldn’t believe it fit my car!! i lost my gas cap at the gas station and it just felt like my gas was guzzling rather quickly!! so when i ordered another one who can beat this price for a gas cap that locks,,then it came the very next day!! Fits perfectly plus i feel like my gas isn’t going down quick anymore (maybe it’s just me on that part) but either way it’s a great buy!! Just have to get adjusted to the locking,unlocking, and removing when getting gas,,it’s cool

I must stipulate that I am not sure which car this is for; as it gives no indication on box. However; for the only reason I can give this good ratings is that it fit my husbands 2016 Chevy Cruz Ltd. perfectly. Locks well and he uses it daily.

I purchased when gas prices were at their highest and it was easy to install but a little difficult to unlock while removing for fillup. All was ok for about 2 months then the check engine light came on and after an OBD scan I could see one of the possibilities was the gas cap. Installed the original, reset the fault and no more check engine light. Would not recommend. Idea is great and wish it was still on there and working correctly.

The media could not be loaded.  This gas cap works like a charm. There’s a bit of a learning curve to unlock so I made a video tutorial. Contrary to all the negative reviews saying how it fell apart or got stuck on the tank. I haven’t experienced this.Take note. If your gas tank is open to the elements like mine (Cubevan) Just apply a small piece of duct tape or gorilla tape over the keyhole when it’s cold to prevent any moisture from entering the keyhole and freezing it. If your gas tank is covered by a door which I assume most vehicles on here are. You won’t have a problem with freezing. Just a tip. Works like a charm.Take a look at my video. It’s pretty basic, but a visual is better than none.I definitely recommend this locking gas cap to anyone.

If you value your Toyota, and wish to save a LOT of worry, wasted time and MONEY, please do not buy this locking gas cap from this seller or any other who may offer it or similar items. I learned the hard way that our vehicles are now built to such sensitive emissions standards that these aftermarket gas caps fail to comply with those standards.Shortly after installing this locking gas cap (I sought to protect the contents of my gas tank in these days of exorbitant gas prices.) my Tacoma started showing a persistent pair of dashboard information lights, the "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights came on and stayed on day after day. After three different visits to two different garages, the last being a local Toyota dealership a good hour's drive away in a neighbouring town, and after spending well over $300 in service charges, it was determined that this locking gas cap failed the compression tests every time!This process took long enough that Amazon could no longer offer its usual replace or refund and FORGET ABOUT THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY because you cannot contact the manufacturer, SeeBoo, to make a warranty claim (This seller consistently refused to disclose the contact information for SeeBoo in spite of several messages back and forth.). The seller, instead, asked me to purchase the product A SECOND TIME for which he would not charge me the cost, saying that I would receive a free locking gas cap in this way. A locking gas cap that would only lead to more problem dashboard lights, more service charges and more headaches for me!I hope that my learning my lesson the hard (expensive) way may save some of you the same costly mistakes.
