Terrible product
I thought these were lined up perfectly at first but they are not even close. It's pretty much unusable. Also, the screw holes are pretty difficult to knock out. I would not recommend this product.

Dissapointed
There were paint flakes chipped out of the front panel, and I didn't expect the punched knockouts to be as offset and close together as they were. If you're looking to use Neutrik D Panel gaskets with this you're out of luck, unless you only use half the punched knockouts. I only needed 12 hole panels, and these were all I could find from any Canadian distributors. In the end, I ordered GLS Audio 12 hole punched panels from Amazon.com, because it was worth the extra exchange rate, duty, and shipping to get exactly what I wanted.

Good unimount face for the price.
I dont know what the deal is with the complaints about this panel. Maybe some of you got a bad batch but mine showed up and was able to mount some XLR connectors and Neutrik powercon connectors with zero problems. sure , the holes are universal for a variety of screw mounts but I was able to get mine all straight. maybe I just got lucky? who knows.

Not perfect but good enough
As a previous review stated, the holes are not perfect. The TRS jacks I purchased - GLS Audio 1/4" Jacks TS and TRS Panel Mount Jack Locking Style D Series Size - 10 Pack - as well as the combo jacks from Mouser had to have the screws inserted at a slight angle to get them in. It works, but it's a bit more difficult than I feel it should have been.On the other hand, I can't find a better solution than this for my specific needs. I have a Saffire Pro 40 that has most of the inputs (all but 2) and outputs located on the back of the device and I wanted to create a patch panel of the exact same type of jacks to be routed to the back of the Pro 40 for easy access when it is rack mounted. This means 6 XLR/TRS combo jacks and 10 TRS jacks. The only way I could find to make this happen was to purchase this product as well as the specific jacks I needed and then build it myself from there. I suppose you could try to take a blank panel cut the holes out yourself, but I am nowhere near skilled enough to do that cleanly or safely.Overall, I would say if you are like me and have a very specific need for 16 ports of varying types, this product works. Just know that it isn't perfect and you may struggle with it a bit, however, it should still get the job done. I know that I will be purchasing more of these in the future so that I can patch additional devices as well. If you are looking to build a patch panel that has all of the same type of ports (16 XLR ports or 16 TRS ports or 16 Cat5/6 ports, etc), there are far better solutions out there. I managed to keep everything square.
The product is what it says it is, there are a lot of reviews that say you can't keep your connectors squared with the plate and show pictures of this, I was able to use 4-40 screws and had enough play to keep everything arranged properly, I will post a followup picture as soon as I have a chance.
