Criminal Law Case Studies (Coursebook) 5th Edition

We needed this book for class, but I used it to study as well. It gives you case facts and applicable law and helps you go through the scenarios of what to charge, how to defend, etc.

I never thought I would like a required textbook as much as I like this one. This book is great, it tells stories of real events in a non-biased way and really makes you think about whether you'd convict someone and how long their sentences should be. Almost every assignment had me struggling with both sides of the story, it was great!

Though the principles and concepts may be well and good, much of the 'modern rule' material the book teaches with is no longer good law in 2020.

Exactly what I needed and expected.

I've sent a link of this product to my husband because he gave me an option what I wanted for a present. Unfortunately I am not too impressed with the quality of this book. Although the content is very informative and interesting to read, BUT the material of the book is cheaply made. I don't think this book is worth $50. Not for this quality. Also, the pages are soooo thin too... ekkk!!
