McCormick Bag 'n Season Pork Chops Cooking Bag & Seasoning Mix, 1.06 oz

This wonderful old standby still keeps pots and pan cleaning to a minimum. I love the way these bags make meats so tender. Just add meat, veggies and seasonings and pop in the oven for the correct time for whatever you are cooking. No fuss, no mess and meat so tender it falls off the bone. Get a supply to keep on hand for minimal cleanup and the most tender and tasty meats ever!

A west coast family favorite we could not find here on the east coast. Was grateful Amazon sold it. It’s a quick, juicy, easy and delicious way to do pork chops. Good for beginner cooks.

I was hesitant to use this because I didn't think it would keep the pork chops from drying out. Was I ever wrong! The chops were even overcooked a little to ensure they were fully cooked and they still came out juicy and full of flavor. I put this into a foil lined 9x13 pan and I only snipped three holes into the baggie with scissors and the bag held up and didn't leak, clean up was a cinch. I made the mistake of trying to rub the seasoning into the meat and ended up with more on my fingers then on the meat. Next time I will just sprinkle it on and leave it alone. The seasoning mix is super fine, so as long as the pork chops are a little wet, the seasoning should stick to them with ease. The flavor of the seasoning reminded me of the old recipe for Lawry's seasoning salt before they took the MSG out of it. Don't worry, this doesn't have MSG in it either. The flavor was a nice walk down memory lane though.

I used these for so many years and I would be able to purchase them at Walmart but I can't find them locally anymore. I love using these when making pork chops it such a quick way to cook them and they come out delicious. I also love that the bottom of the bag will have like a gravy you can use on mashed potatoes. I wish I could find it locally but will continue to purchase it on Amazon as long as the price affordable.

I have been using this product for years but no longer find it available in local grocery stores. I like to add a few drops of soy sauce around my pork chops and a nice sized slice of onion over each chop before tying up the bag for baking. They always come out so tender and favorable with no mess.

I used to bake my pork chops using the seasoning and bag method. I loved the taste of my pork chops. Unfortunately, they stopped selling it in the stores. Imagine my surprise when I found it on Amazon. I made pork chops one night and my mom (who loves to thank me for cooking then adds a but) said she liked the pork chops. The price was good and it’s an easy way to cook dinner after working all day. Very little clean up needed. Try it and see if you like it.

I would definitely buy it again. Excellent quality product.
