This device is perfect for my small sewing room, but the main reason I bought it is so that I have extended power when making house calls. If I bring my machine, the customer doesn’t always have an outlet near a work table. With the long power cord for a wall outlet, I can bring my own table and set up shop! USB ports are fabulous for phone and tablet charging, all while the machine is humming along. It’s also lightweight and small enough to fit in the portable sewing caddy. I purchased this to clean up and octopus I had at a wall plug. This did the trick and made things much less unsightly, allowing me to use a wall plug that was unused do to the difficulty getting to it.
