Love this sprayer for bleaching...
I love this sprayer. I originally bought one at a local store a few years ago, however, let someone borrow it and it wasn't returned. I use it primarily to apply outdoor bleach to clean vinyl siding. It works like a charm every time delivering the proper amount of bleach without clogging or deteriorating like other sprayers. You must use a ladder for higher spots since the spray range doesn't quite reach. For gardening I would have to say it would be perfect.

cheap plastic construction
I've used this product for a few years, but only used a couple of times per year. It doesn't reliably draw from the fertilizer tank, especially at low flow settings. The quick release hose attachment pops off when the hose applies any torque, and the whole thing eventually broke. I think I've only used it about 10 times. This might be OK for use with a really light weigh flexible hose but I don't recommend it for use with a standard garden hose or for someone who is concerned with applying a precise fertilizer dosage.

but other than that it is pretty consistent and works pretty well
I use this to spread my beneficial nematodes in my greenhouses. For the most part it works alright, gets the job done, but the handle falls off frequently even when I purposefully hold it by the container. Kind of frustrating, but other than that it is pretty consistent and works pretty well.

Cumbersome to handle, and use! Green plastic section ...
Cumbersome to handle, and use! Green plastic section and hose disconnected from container, water spraying everywhere, too time consuming to reassemble, left it and used an old sprayer I had laying around the house. Tried to reuse a 2nd time, water continue to leak from green plastic and gray mental attachments. More of a bother than help.

Love these sprayers!
Love these sprayers! I have several - some I use for feeding the orchids or for insecticides / fungicides etc. Others I use for regular garden plants for the same reasons. The multiple types of sprays and the ability to choose the amount of product per gallon works perfectly. And I'm able to mark the outside of the base (since it's white) with a permanent marker that allows me to identify which sprayer is which. Absolutely no complaints.

I would NOT recommend it for spraying anything
This was a suggested item for spray beneficial nematodes from Arbico Organics. I would recommend it for spraying anything. The "Quick Release" releases the hose when you pull the trigger. I have had many hose end sprayers, this is the worst of the worst and the most expensive. I had to stop about every 5 feet, turn off the water (because the quick connect doesn't work if there is water pressure) reconnect the hose, turn the water back on and proceed. Worse design failure in a hose end sprayer I have ever experienced. If not for the "quick release" feature I would recommend it because it has a feature that allows you to screw it on to chemical bottles. I won't be trying that feature out due to the failure of the sprayer to stay connected to the hose during use. Back to my (much less expensive) Dial a Spray from Wal Mart.

"Anemic" spray patterns
I didn't buy this at the Amazon... I needed it quick so I bought it at the local (orange) box store. It looked quite versatile, and the 10-year warranty gives the impression that it's well built.I'm less than thrilled. It seems like it's fairly sturdy, and unlike other reviewers, I haven't had noticeable problems with the mixture coming out wrong... but where it comes out is my problem. Despite the three different patterns, they all emerge very lethargically. It doesn't really spray out; it's more like a garden hose when the faucet is barely turned on. It might shoot 10 feet, if you angle is just right. It would probably be okay for spraying fertilizer on the lawn, or soaping up the car. I bought it to spray insecticide on my 20-foot apple tree, and I have to stand on a 10-foot ladder to even have a prayer of hitting the up-high branches and fruit. I wouldn't recommend for ANY kind of overhead work, due to the weak spray. I believe I'll try a Chapin G385 hose end sprayer. (I had one before - woulda bought another if they'd had it at the big orange store.)
