The Fly’s Demise
This thing works great! Lures flies into the cage with a bright light. Not sure how it works, but most flies don’t survive once they go in and touch the light: some flies get zapped then fall into the bottom tray from which most don’t escape and ultimately succumb. Some flies hit the light and put up a fight trying to escape the cage, but most are not successful as they use so much energy they usually get exhausted and wind up in the bottom tray. It’s kind of entertaining in a UFC fight kind of way. Some flies actually manage to escape the cage after hitting the light. No worry, as those flies are usually impaired after being zapped so when they reenter your living area they are fairly easy to corral and snuff out without the use of poison sprays. Also, some flies survive the fall into the bottom tray so when you remove the tray those flies are still alive. Most of them cannot fly out and escape the trash can after you empty the tray. Some flies do fly out of the trash can, but are easily recaptured to serve out their sentences. This product will eliminate most flies in the home. But, it does not terminate flies immediately like spraying poison or using a fly swatter. It takes a while, and mostly dark rooms but eventually the flies cannot help themselves and will go to the bright light in this product. After that, the fly usually meets the early end of a short life expectancy.A few thoughts for improvement, but not complaints. 1. Figure out a way so flies can’t get out of the cage once they are inside. 2. Figure out a way to make sure flies are totally immobile or deceased after they wind up in the bottom tray so they can’t escape when you empty the tray.Great product and highly recommend!

Does what it says
As soon as I received this zapper, I plugged it in. I think it was less than 15 seconds that 2 or 3 annoying flying insects (I think they are fruit flies) got zapped. It has been a workhorse in eliminating all of the flying bugs in my apartment, and I do a little, "YEAH!" every time I hear it zap one.Ever since I have moved into this apartment, the (flying) bugs are everywhere (I think they are coming in through the air vent in the bathroom), and flying in my face and on my computer monitors (which is why I bought this).I have given this zapper a month just to make sure it didn't fail. It has worked great so far and I am hoping it will last for awhile.I would definitely recommend for others.UPDATE (December 9, 2023):After month (or 2), I had bought a second one of these, and put it in the bathroom (so 2 on at the same time, which I leave both on 24/7).The original's light burned out at the end of August of 2023, and I purchased replacements (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B5WVSYQN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... says currently unavailable, but at least it can be a guide for which ones if you might ever need one), and both are still going strong. So far, only that one had a light burn out.

Haven't zapped a thing.
It hasn't killed a single fly since I purchased it.I got this because since last month we have had a problem with flies and centipedes being in the house. I've paid almist $40 for basically a light, I can almost hear them laugh as they fly by it. All lights off at night except this thing, you think it would catch at least one right?.... nope... go ahead and grab a 1$ fly swatter if your looking for indoor use .. so for the review questions I'm not sure if it's easy to clean because it's still as clean as when I took it out of the box. Easy to use? Maybe I'm not doing that part right so no 🤷♀️ but hey I'll give you the last one. It is light weight.

It actually works!
When shopping on Amazon I am always skeptical if it will work or not, so many other fly traps did nothing - but this trap is the only one that definitely works 100% of the time! Immediately after taking it out of the box and turning it on, the trap caught the already present house flies within a few minutes. It does make a sudden snap noise, as if someone dropped a flip flop onto the wood floor, but not even my cats noticed it anymore after a day. Once I hear the little snap noise go off, I rejoice that my purchase was well worth it! It also makes a nice little night light for my kitchen.

Works well enough
I like this bug zapper, it is good in quality, has an on/off switch, looks good, slim profile and kills bugs. I use it inside the house and usually leave in on day or night whenever home. It doesn't kill all bugs but enough. It works well if it's the brightest light source in the room, meaning it works great when the lights are off. So if you got some mosquitoes in the room when you have bright lights on, just turn off the lights for a few minutes for the bugs to fly to the zapper.

Good little bug Zapper
Purchased to replace our last bug zapper. We originally bought to use outside but we’ve kept it in the dining room corner and it goes off quite often. Surprises us especially since pest control comes regularly. Thankfully, all the little bugs are attracted to it.

Not overly impressed
I find the design on this a bit lacking. The electric cord is a "whopping" (sarcasm) 3ft. long, and then you lose another foot off of that because they connected the cord to the top of the zapper. You will definitely need an extension cord, because these work best when they are hung up higher than 2ft off the ground. It would also be nice to have a legit hook to hang it from instead of hanging it from a squared handle... Which causes it to hang crooked if the zapper gets blown off center. It does a pretty good job killing bugs, but I'm just not overly impressed. I'm looking to replace this with something else.

Easy to use and clean
It's easy to use and easy to clean. I like the fact that it has it's on and off button. It's nice and affordable very light weight. Does the work especially if you are like me with a lot of house plants inside. The tendency of having flies and bugs once in a while. This bug zapper does the work for me :)
