Quality of product
I ordered this item 2x and returned it twice. The first time the shaft broke while in use and the second the shaft bent and damaged the router so that it will have to be replaced. The 1/4" shaft size seems to be too small for the forces involved. I would recommend that you NOT purchase this product.

It is what it is - a cheap TR&G router set
Buy this if you need to do a few quick tongue and groove cuts on the cheap. Do not buy this if you need to make a lot of T&G cuts, or if you expect it to last a long time. I have run about 120 linear feet of cedar through it and it is already starting to dull a bit. Also, Beware.., it is not a well balanced set - there is a LOT of vibration when it is running at speed - to the point where I almost was going to return it. If you have an older or lower quality router, it could do some permanent damage to the router's bearings if you run it for any length of time.It is the Yugo of router bits - it is cheap and will work OK for a little while, but eventually it is going to cause problems that might get expensive. If you want a cheap set to make a few cuts, this will work for you.

Rusty shanks and bearings. Bearings are poor quality.
The bit shanks were received with rust on all of them. Bearings were rusty. I spent 2 hours cleaning up the rust. Shanks and bearings have light pitting from the rust. Bearings are questionable quality. Carbide cutting surfaces look good.

Low budget, loose joints
Bits cut pretty good with poplar, but the tearout when coping was way to much. Also, the joints were super loose.

cuts loose but can be fixed
Other reviewers have complained about the sloppy fit of the stub tenon. I tried mine and it cuts a sloppy sub out of the box, but...there's an easy fix. I used spacer washers from my freud glass panel set to jack up the wing cutter on the tenon bit 1/32" and got a nice tight fit. Otherwise, the cuts smoothly with a perfectly acceptable edge. I would give it 5 stars but they should really include some shim washers so you don't have to seal them from another bit.

The 1/4 inch shank it is not heavy enough for the size of a bit
A quarter inch shank on the heavier bit is much too small the shank bent, the bit is in the trash now.

You get what you pay for!!
When I received the package the box was nice, but when I open it up 50% of of the bits had falling out of the slot. The strip that suppose to tell you which bits goes where was blurry and the strip was coming of the foam. Long story short, if you looking for extra bits to have, I guess it's ok! But if you are unfamiliar of what bit suppose to what. Don't waste your money!!
