I am so glad I did not let the negative reviews prevent me from buying this. It's the perfect sleep sack as the weather gets colder and thus, The house is colder. My son is 6 months old, 20lbs, and 28 in long and the medium fits great with several inches to spare in length. It's not too baggy on the top at all. I washed before use with cold water then I hung it up to dry because it is 100% cotton. I saw reviews complaining of shrinkage and bunching after washing. Instructions say to use cold water and tumble on low, likely for that reason. Picture is of the sleep sack after being washed. It's in my opinion the perfect weight. It's two layers of cotton fabric with a light layer of fill in between making it feel like a soft lightweight comforter. I have one from a different brand thats Sherpa lined and is not breathable, my son sweats like crazy in it. This burts bees one is like the perfect material that keeps him warm and comfortable but is still very breathable. I also think the weight of the fabric makes him sleep so much better. Honestly I'm super impressed with this and it was such a great value. I have 4 of the regular burts bees sleep sacks that I used with my daughter and now with my son, yes they do wear over time and I have had to mend split seams,etc over the months of usage but honestly these sleep sacks get more use than any other item my baby wears so that's expected after how much use it gets. The quality of this thicker one is excellent. I'm so happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying the next size up when he gets that big!

These are our go-to sleep sacks for our son! Once we transitioned from swaddles, I knew we would invest in a sleep sack but wasn’t sure where to start.These are super high quality and quilted for comfort. But also not so think that baby can’t wear pjs underneath. My husband and I like to sleep with our house on the cool side (and live in the Midwest) so the 1.5 TOG is our go-to. Our little 7 month old loves these!Pictured is a different print but same sleep sack!

This sleep sack is absolutely perfect for our 9 month old this winter! We bought the quilted Cow Jumping Over the Moon pattern. It is so soft, stays toasty warm, fits exactly as expected as per the measurements in the size chart. The zipper is well designed, the arm and neck openings are the perfect size. Our baby is 26 lbs and 31" long with pointed toes, so we got the Large. She snuggled right in happily

Bought this for my 8 month old for winter. He LOVES it, it’s like a little sleeping bag for him. He’s so warm and happy snuggled up in this. The biggest issue is— why is this just a single zipper?! There is no benefit over a double zipper, none. It’s not fun to try to wrestle this zipper closed while your son has flipped over to his stomach or side when you put him bed. The hassle of this single zipper honestly completely disrupts him getting to sleep. And no, I don’t put it on him before bed, because it’s bulky and he’s a squirmy big baby, and when he drinks he drools, so I don’t need a wet sleep sack.

So when I first got it I though it was definitely too big. But after putting it in my son the room he has in there so perfect. It’s soft and acts like the blanket he needed around him. My son is 1 year but is a big boy and the largest size fit him with lots of room. So I would definitely check measurements if your LIttle one is on the smaller side

I love the Burts Bees sleep sacks. I have the thin cotton ones that are nicer for spring/early fall and the thicker ones are great for fall and winter. The quilted sleep sacks keep my baby warm and the material is so soft. I wish I had one for myself. My baby is 12 months but still wears the medium sizes because there's extra leg room still and he'd probably trip trying to stand up if he had the large size. I also love that these are organic cotton. The only thing that could make these better would be if BB could put a double zipper on.

I love all Burt's Bees baby clothes because they are so soft. These sleep sacks are higher quality than Halo, in my opinion. They are super soft, thick but breathable. The patterns are cute. I like how the zipper is hidden in a little pocket, zipper seems more durable than Halo.

My 14 week old girl and I love this sleep sac it's warm and cozy. She has plenty of leg room. Diaper changes are a breeze. We have two of the same one. My only complaint is the zipper. One of them has a defective zipper and will occasionally come undone from the top. It's a bit annoying.Otherwise it's a great sleep sac and I recommend it. I probably just got a random defective one.

Fits really well. Great for warmer weather

This sleep sack has been perfect for the hot summer days. My son is 20 months and tall and this fits him well. I just put a onesie on underneath and he sleeps very well. I tried transitioning him out of sleep sacks but it didn’t go well so this is a nice option for a few more months until he’s ready for a blanket.

I hate the way it zips! Unlike all other sleep sacks I’ve had, this one zips top to bottom. You have to align the zipper to get it on rather than just pull straight up. It’s also harder to get for as the zipper is buried at the bottom of the sack. It’s fine for a backup sleep sack.

So pleased with this purchase. Its perfect for warmer nights but still need an extra layer. Its cotton so its breathable but still has a little thickness to it so its warm, but not too warm. I love how the zipper has a little hide pouch at the bottom. Fits well and is really long, but gives my 11 month room to grow.

I bought this for the transition from a full swaddle to a warm blanket like sac for sleeping as my baby grew. It is such an amazing product and so soft and warm. I love that the zipper goes down to close and not up because then it can't be taken off. I loved it so much I bought a second for daycare naps and also as a gift for a new mom. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, I wish they made bigger sizes as my baby keeps growing and growing!
