Plug it in, get Power
The media could not be loaded. Bought these to replace a couple loose outlets in my daughter's bedrooms, with the additional perk of adding some USB ports and cleaning up some plugs. Quick notes that I always see people marking down USB outlets in reviews for that are just "uh duh" things:-these aren't GFI outlets. rectangular doesn't mean GFI, just means a different shape. GFI outlets are obviously GFI outlets and have buttons on the face. Don't replace GFI outlets with these.-just because they have a USB port doesn't mean you're going to get fast-charge capability. No USB outlet I've installed has native fast-charging. If they did, the back of the outlet would probably be even bigger/deeper.If you've never replaced an outlet before, do some research so you know you're hooking it up correctly. If you have replaced an outlet before these will also be fairly straightforward, though there are a couple wonky things with these outlets that are different than most I've replaced:1. Screws are separate, not attached - most outlets have little square screw stops on them so the screws stay in the outlets even when not attached, these don't - the screws are in a bag - just remember the long screws connect the outlet to the box, the short screws connect the wall plate.2. The back of the outlet is deeper, so might be a little tight in the box. If you've ever put in a smart light switch or smart outlet like I have, this won't be new to you.3. If you push the wire into the hole on the back instead of do the U loop around the side screw, you need to unscrew the side screws first, then put in the stripped wire to the hole and tighten the sides. Most outlets I've installed do an auto-lock thing when you push into the hole, but these do not.4. the ground (green) screw is on bottom of the outlet. Most are on the side. This makes it even a little tighter putting it back into the box, and you may need to get creative with wire maneuvering.5. the outlet cover has no visible screws after installation, but this means you screw in the 'bracket' first, then snap on the cover. The cover has a little tab on it - this should go down, if you put it on top there will be a little noticeable spot on the top of your outlet cover. I almost made this mistake one the first one - when installing the bracket, make sure the one with the 'clip' goes down and it'll look much cleaner. See picture 2 of just the bracket - you'll notice the top and bottom are a big different, the 'tab' should be at the bottom.Pros:-outlets work and provide power! USB ports are a plus and clear up some cord clutter-clean screwless outlet cover - doesn't match my other outlet covers but it's super cleanAnnoyances:-too tight to fit a USB plug and a larger plug at the same time (but it will fit USB and two smaller 2-prong plugs) - but not really a 'con' as all USB outlets are like this.-I didn't realize there was a little green light on the front of these until I installed them. Was about to list this as a straight 'con' but it's not bright enough to be obnoxious, and it serves a purpose of seeing that there is power. Also, it's in the listing so that's my fault for not noticing.-when a USB device is plugged in, there is an audible electrical squealing noise (see video and turn up volume). I've noticed this in cheaper electronic devices - usually it's quiet enough to ignore, and this only happens with a USB device plugged in. It hasn't been enough to make me return the outlets, but both of them do this so I assume they all will and it's not just a couple defective units.

Look clean, usb ports are so nice to have
We bought these for our island and they look so clean. The only complaint I have is the usb port kinda sticks a little. I really have to yank the chord out to get it out. Not sure what’s going on there

Looks well built
Haven't been able to put one in yet. Can't figure out exactly where I want them and the one I tried to put in would only safely handle 2 hot wires and 2 neutrals. I had 3 of each in the box.

Everything works and not hard to install
I verified that usb’s are working and outlets are active. The only issue is that these will not replace outlets that have been split to have one receptacle wired to a switch and the other continuously live. I had another room to use them so not all was lost. I don’t know if it is just this brand or all others with usb ports would be the same

USB plug ins
This type of USB plug in works great, you never have to worry about keeping trap of the traditional type of USB converter and these charge a little fast as well. Will replace any standard plug in a couple of minutes.
