I ordered 2 different Trumpet stands and kept this one because it felt more sturdy, compact, and the quality didn't feel cheap. It's mostly metal and is very compact. As advertised, it fits nicely in the bell of the trumpet for easy storage and travel-ability. The other one I got didn't fit into the trumpet case at all. My 8 yr old son finds it easy to set up. Really am satisfied with this. Highly recommend!

The K&M in-bell 5 leg stand is an ultra compact stand that's easy to carry nestled into the bell of my Getzen cornet. When stored in the bell, it protrudes only about 1/4 inch. My cornet still fits nicely in its hard case with this bit of extra length. The cone shaped post is sturdy/heavy plastic with 3 protective felt pads around the perimeter which should eliminate scratching of the bell's lacquered finish. The tip of the cone is rubber, further protecting the bell as you insert/withdraw. The 5 legs are metal, and fold up to be stored within the body of the cone when collapsed. With the horn on the stand, the center of gravity is low positioning the bell just under 2 inches off the ground. Overall the stand feels sturdy, contributing to the confidence it will not randomly fall over - particularly with the 5 legs. The fit and finish are excellent; quality is first rate. The stand does not wedge firmly into the bell - exercise caution and hold it in place as you lift your horn into or out of your case! This is really intelligently engineered. There is no excuse for not carrying a stand for your cornet (or trumpet) anymore with this one!

This is an inexpensive, light weight, easy to use and somewhat indispensible device. I highly recommend it. The reaons I love this thing are: Inexpensive, well-made, lightweight, stable. Stability is key, of course because one's trumpet can get damaged if it falls over. The light weight part is great because it can be folded up and placed inside the trumpet bell and then placed inside the trumpet's case so that one needs carry only one case. Having the stand tucked into the trumpet bell for transport is hardly noticeable and it is so great to be able to pack it up, jump on an airplane, unpack the case and have a stand for one's trumpet whether in a hotel room or an auditorium. The well-made part is critical because one doesn't wish to be forced to keep buying new trumpet stands because the flimsy old one has just broken. This device appears to be built to last with no fuss or worry. I'm a big fan and believe you will be too. Recommended.

While there are knockoffs of this brand, the quality and versatility of this stand our supreme. You can save a few dollars getting eastman or another no name but this one is worth the money. For a trumpet that cost over 3k, spending this for something to hold it during rehearsal was a good move. Highly recommend.

This is a great compact stand that works well and travels easily. Seems stable and I like that the stand legs fold into the stand for storage. Very compact.

Bought as Christmas present for my granddaughter. trumpet is staying in it now so I guess it works. Ok, I've had one for years and it is quite sturdy and will last a long time. But, it does freak out TSA guys when they X-ray your case with it stored in bell.

Good steady stand. If it had a little more padding where it contacts the instrument it would get five stars. I use it for my bugle.

Donde dejas la trompeta? Sobre la silla?.Tranquilo que vendrá algún "patas" y te la tirara.En el regazo?.Cuando vayas a dar vuelta a la partitura se te caerá. El soporte es extraordinario,con la originalidad que comporta,que se pueda meter en la campana de la trompeta,lo que supone de sitio en la maleta. La estabilidad y dureza de las patas (son de hierro) propicia un seguro contra el balanceo.Andaba tras el hace tiempo,en Amazon Francia,lo tenían,pero en España no, lo han incorporado hace poco. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda,estoy encantado.
