Bramton Company Simple Solution Washable Cover-Ups 2 Pack X-Large

I bought these for when my female, Bella, is in season. They worked great on the floor for urine while I was house breaking her.The XL fits her perfectly. They cover further up her back and cover a much larger area. They ride down too but not as fast as the medium size. Nevertheless, I had to tape these on as well with masking tape so as not to pull her fur out. They may fit well enough on your dog so they don't slip down at all. Customers' pics are placed low on the page on the right side, now, at least on this product I think.I carefully measured my dog's girth in front of her hind legs (her waist). It is between 20 and 21 inches so I bought the Medium size which states it fits up to 23 inches because I know these type of garments tend to slip off from reading others' reviews. Well, they DO NOT FIT. I paid too much for shipping to return them so I ordered the XL to be sure they'd fit.The diapers are well made with an (unnecessary) breathable liner exactly like you would find inside a man's bathing suit. They will NOT absorb anything on their own. They must have a disposable liner/pad attached. The tail hole stretches well and should fit a large dog's tail although I might worry it may be too tight. How do you check to see if your dog's tail is turning blue? Ha ha. Any way...My tip of the day: Don't waste money buying the liners made for this diaper. I buy the puppy training pads for the floor. You can find them here: http://www.amazon.com/Pet-Select-Pee-pee-Training-Pads/dp/B007ZHZ5GU From the 100 count package you can cut about 1,000 liners if you size them 8" x 5". They are very absorbent and much, much cheaper than the pads. I cut a piece just right to fit my dog and stick it to the diaper with double-sided tape (or roll a wide piece of packing tape). It works like a charm and will save you oodles of cash.This seller needs to emphasize that the package size statement is wrong and everyone should buy a size up. Thumbs down for them.Also curious about why these need to be washed before use as it states on the package. Is there some terrible chemical on them that will hurt my dog's delicate genitals??? Stop laughing...that's not funny. :-D

This product can be used for puppy or senior incontinence, or for dogs in heat.I have been using Simple Solution dog diapers for years. I use them with regular incontinence pads from the grocery, instead of the more expensive liners available in pet stores. The Velcro soft side runs across the top of whole back, so the tabs can be placed wherever needed.... Nice and adjustable. You need to fit them snuggly so your pup doesn't wiggle out of them. When properly fitted she won't even care that it is on.The only thing that would earn the 5th star would be if it were waterproof. But those wraps are custom made and twice the price. If you check the diaper now and then and change it once it has been well used but before it is too heavy then you won't get a leak. Also, if not changed soon enough your dog will become uncomfortable and pull off the diaper or pull out the pad.This brand used to be available in a major pet store chain, for years, and the product has been replaced by the exact same item and packaging but with the Top Paw product name. It is the same item just a lot cheaper here on Amazon.

My great dane went in heat. I was trying to find something that would be easy to take on and off of her and keep everything else clean. The package I got came with a pink and a purple one. The xl did fit her very well, but she is a small size great dane. She is 100lbs and fully grown. You could also use this for your dog if they’re incontinence. These are also washable. We washed them everyday and were still able to save them for next time she’s in heat. She was comfortable in them. They didn’t seem to bother her at all. They kept our male great dane away from her, too. The only thing and is if you have more than one dog and they like to play they do like to try to take these off. We put a pair of small womens shorts on her so that they couldn’t get to the cover. These are great! I would definitely recommend them.I hope the review helped to answer any questions you may have. We used these on our 87 lb. Rottweiler. She was 13 and had problems standing and moving anywhere fast. These were a real life saver for us and for her. We were able to keep her comfortable and clean for 6/7 months until she could no longer stand, The package came with a purple and pink cover and we lined them with a large incontinence pad. They are tightened in front of the back legs with velcro adjusters. Being a rottie, she had no sizable tail to keep the diaper centered, but we managed and would readjust it occasionally. They would tend to get twisted somewhat or baggy, but let's face it, it's not easy to make a fitted diaper for a dog, especially a dog with no tail to anchor it. I now have fond memories of my big, beautiful girl in her colorful diappies . A very worthwhile purchase!

It works well for the job it is intended. With an active dog that enjoys running and wrestling with housemates I have never had to worry about the product coming off. She is unable to be spayed due to a current health condition, but it is a future goal, so I wanted something cost effective. Most of the other similar items were double the cost for the 2 pack or only 1 item. It has relieved the stress of trying to restrict my dog to one area and keep her away from furniture during this time of her heat cycle. She is on the smaller end of an XL, which does fit her body well but it gaps where the velcro piece attaches. It looks like it will fall off at any moment but that has yet to be an issue, just gives it an uncomfortable look.

A great item, however I find the elastic in the legs and tail opening just a little too tight. I actually undid the elastic in the legs. The sizing between the large and ex-large is difficult to figure out. The large is too tight and the ex-large is a little too big, with the exception of the elastics which are too tight. That being said they do the job and make life easier for myself and my girl.

Work amazing! We did not know they do not come with a pad already inserted so just beware of that but that is actually better for us! It fits her so well and shes looking stylish. The Velcro is great quality as well. Bought XL and it fits our rottie great!
