Unfortunately, the accumulated stress took its toll: sleep became shallow and intermittent. I have serious issues with not being able to fall asleep, and have had negative reactions to prescription sleep medication. I've done a ton of research into the best over-the-counter options and talked with my doctor as well, and this Kirland product has helped me so much!The main ingredient is Doxylamine, which is used in short-term treatment of insomnia. When looking at over-the-counter sleep aids, you want to read the ingredients carefully. Though they go by many different brand names, the vast majority's main ingredient is Diphenhydramine (aka Benedryl), just priced much, much higher under the guise of a sleep aid.I find Doxylamine-based products to be much more effective for me personally than diphenhydramine, but they are not made by as many companies. They can also get quite pricy. I spent a couple of hours looking doing a cost comparison across many different stores and websites to find out who makes this product at the best price, and Kirkland via Amazon comes out to be the best deal.The shipping is fast, and the number of tablets lasts a really long time. Highly recommended!

I have to admit that these work as far as getting some sleep but the problem for me is that they work too well for too long. I took one at 10 p.m. and still felt very sleepy the next morning and got up 2 hours later than usual. For the rest of the morning and into late afternoon, I had to fight to keep my eyes open and finally gave in around 3:30 p.m. and napped until 6 p.m. No box came with the bottle for information on the product or side effects to watch out for, etc.

They really help me get some much needed rest when nothing else works. I wake up feeling refreshed, and there is no lingering grogginess. Excellent price and value.

Great price for a generic alternative to the name brand sleep aid tablets.

They really worked well for getting us to sleep for both my husband and myself. The problem is that we both slept for two hours longer than usual, meaning 10 hours! Then we both felt drugged this morning and have each taken a 1-2 hour nap as we were still feeling tired. Will not be taking them again. BTW, we each only took one pill before bed and were looking for a less interrupted night of sleep, which we got.

I have used this brand of sleep aid for awhile and they have always worked well. They do leave you groggy in the morning. Price is right .
