No thigh gobbling
These short stay down, can be hiked and walked in run in with zero thigh gobbling and the shorts don’t look like running shorts. They just like your look like you’re wearing nice comfortable little black shorts. Also the front pocket has a little loop for your keys. They won’t move the back pocket. Hold your phone, but I trust it for a run, but not if you’re gonna go over a waterfall.

Comfortable materials/ a little looser than expected, color is more muted than pix
TL/DR- I am buying more of these, but will go down a size. They were comfortable to run in without bunching or thigh rubbing. Color is not accurate, but not a deal breaker considering the price discount.I want to start by saying that the color was more muted and closer to a heather than the bright purple displayed in the picture - much nicer in my opinion, since I selected for the price, not the color.I used the sizing chart and Amazon's recommendation and selected medium (5'6 / 140 lbs/ sort of athletic build with inner thighs touch). While comfortable, they are too loose for me to use as practical active wear.I ran 6 miles on a tread wearing these.Pros:- They breath well- Running didn't cause the material to bunch up / cause thigh rub- The pockets are nicely sizedOnly CON for me:- I couldn't carry my phone in any of the pockets without the shorts sliding down

So comfortable and no ride-up!!
I’ve been running for 43 years, and I’ve tried almost every running short, and these beat them all by a mile. Finally there are shorts that breathe, do not chafe, do not ride up, and look really great as well!! I’m 5’4” and around 145 pounds, and the medium fit perfectly. Even with weight fluctuations of ten pounds, they still fit fine. They also wash well. I’ve washed mine close to a fifty times now, and they still look the same. No signs of wear. They recently updated the design to close the flap on the sides, and that hasn’t affected the fit or look at all, and it helps on the windier days. You will not be disappointed by these shorts!

These are magical shorts
These are amazing shorts. I was influenced by Erin Azar on Instagram to buy these shorts (she tests different types of shorts to see if they are "thigh gobblers" as she calls it). They truly are wonderful. I bought them to wear to on a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on a 90+ degree day. Seriously, these did not move. They are light weight and breath well, but somehow, they stay put. I did not have to walk some special way either. To give another piece to the puzzle here, the train was out of commission for repairs, so we had to walk in and out of each side twice to see the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure sides. LOTS of walking. I would definitely recommend.

Not for the big booty girls
I saw a review on instagram of these shorts and was excited to try them (the review on instagram talked about them not getting “eaten” by your thighs). They were way too big for my waist, and too tight around my butt/hips (particularly the brief part around my legs). They seem like really nice shorts, and the girl on instagram liked them, but unfortunately they didn’t fit me.

Famous for good reason - very comfortable
Like many, I first saw these on a social media post by a runner with larger thighs. She had tested lots of shorts looking for the best fit, especially one the wouldn’t bunch up at the crotch. I walk and hike and have found the same problem with most loose shorts. Most of the year I wear leggings, so no issue, but when it’s hot these shorts are FANTASTIC! Insanely comfortable, lightweight and quick drying. I’ve now got multiple pairs in the 5” and 7” lengths. Only sacrifice for all those benefits is tiny pockets, but I often carry a crossbody sling or small pack anyway.

Like the fit except for one thing
I do not like the little vents in the back of the shorts. They stick out.

Best running shorts!
These are hands down the best running shorts I have found that don't get gobbled up by my thighs! I run a lot. I run on treadmills, outside, and even half marathons, but I don't have the typical skinny runner legs. These work great since they stay put, have pockets, a spot for my phone, and don't fall down on my waist. I now have 3 pairs since I typically run every other day.
