Henna Powder Hair Color Red Sunset 2 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Sunset red over my grey/light brown hair gives me a beautiful auburn. Coverage is excellent and permanent. Mahagany is also a great color. I like to add a teaspoon of instant coffee and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix it with cold water till it is pudding consistency then let your body heat cause the henna to work. I wrap my head with plastic wrap and then put a shower cap over that to keep my head warm and to prevent dripping. I even do my eye-brows! (cover with plastic to keep them wet) One hour is enough but the color intensity might be more if you leave it longer. You can put an old towel on your pillow and leave it on overnight. Your hair will be well conditioned and curly hair will be straighter. Because it binds to the keritin in your hair it won't take a permanent wave and it may be harder to use chemical hair color until it grows out.

I’m allergic to gluten, so my friend turned me onto this product so that I didn’t have to worry about it. I loved her hair color as it was so vibrant so I was happy to learn what she used. As you would expect Henna to work. Red sunset is extremely bright and light so I add about a quarter or a third brown Hannah to tone it down a bit.

This colour (red sunset) is very similar to the olde Hennalucent Sunset Glo. I love this product! My hair comes out a beautiful red. Even my hairdresser is impressed with it.

Screw hennalucent for discontinuing sundry glo. It is NOT THE SAME! I will be finding out the exact ingredients and launching my skin and hair care line for red heads soon hereafter. Keep a look out. I will not be one who abandons the ginger clan. #gingerlivesmatter
