Beautiful Scrumptious Damson jam with a sweet/ bitter taste full of flavour great homemade taste😋 it reminded me of my youth and the superior jam my late mum used to make which was also her favourite jam as she had easy access to a very large damson tree that grew at the bottom of the yard so every season when the damson's were ripe they were plucked from the tree and made into this wonderful preserve ...PS will definitely be purchasing again.

We have the damson, the cherry berry and the morello in our pantry. Delicious jams, little one loves them. I come from Bulgaria and we have a different approach to jam making - they are smooth like a cream or with full fruit in a thick syrup. Hence, the Western jelly jam texture is not exactly what pleases me, however they do the job for a lazy topping of waffles, pancakes and morning toast. We have them straight from the jar or spoon over a bowl of yogurt for a healthier dessert option. I’d recommend these to anyone looking for a dense jam. Not much fruit texture inside but the taste is lovely and sugary.

I bought this as I am running low on my own supply of home made gooseberry jam. It has the same tangy, not too sweet flavour and similar texture. Delighted to have found this quality product!

Never had this jam before wanted it to be an ingredient in a source for a duck and it was very successful.

Unfortunately, this jam was not as I hoped. It is exceedingly sweet and it is difficult to identify as cherry jam, let alone Morello cherry which has a delicious tartness. Sorry to say, I have tasted better from the supermarket.It is, however, a gorgeous colour and will do okay in a Victoria sponge with some cream to offset the cloying sweetness.I have loved many other things from this maker, this is merely a one off disappointment.

I personally like jam with lots of pieces of cherry (or strawberry, raspberry etc depending on the fruit used!) This doesn't have any half cherries so I will make my own next time. That said, it was a perfectly acceptable way to sweeten some Greek yoghurt and my husband enjoyed it on his sultana scones.
