No matter what sort of skin you have, sometimes you really need to strip it down to remove all of its excess sebum, dead skin cells, deeply imbedded make-up, dirt, gunk and other debris. Sometimes a good cleansing alone just doesn't do a thorough enough job. That's when a good peeling comes in handy. These are very easy to use. It's just a nice sized facial pad that you rub across the skin to strip all of that gunk away after a good cleansing.Though it strips on a deep level, it's also gentle enough on your skin so that it doesn't cause any sort of harm. It does not dry out the skin. Should not cause any sort of irritation for most people, though if you have sensitive skin, you might want to patch test this first. If you do find that it does irritate your skin, make sure you follow up with a good clean moisturizer. You should do so anyway, but the addition should stop or control any irritation. In more severe cases, rinsing with water should take care of that. Otherwise, these are good for all skin types.These seem very clean and effective. Each pad comes individually wrapped for extra cleanliness or for easy traveling.Though I really like these pads a lot, I cannot in the least bit justify the ridiculously high price of $78 (today's price) for 16 pads. I've used other similar pads that are just as good that cost significantly much less. You will receive a good product, but at an uncalled for premium.

This is actually pretty gentle and I really love the results after my first application. I have now used it twice this week with excellent results. If you have never used any retinol or lactic acid products, you should probably start out slow with these resurfacing pads. They clear up any dead skin and help refine the texture of your skin. I am a fan of these.They are simple to use. Just rub the pad around your face in a circular motion after washing your face with a gentle cleanser. I also swipe my neck and decolletage with the remainder of the liquid on the pad. You can then follow up with a serum and moisturizer. Yep, these are expensive but it is cheaper than having this done by an aesthetician. It may take weeks to see actual results so don't be discouraged if you don't see a miraculous transformation overnight.Please don't let fear-mongers point out one ingredient that a certain site says is dangerous -Phenoxyethanol- It’s pretty much the current IT preservative. It’s safe and gentle, but even more importantly, it’s not a feared-by-everyone-mostly-without-scientific-reason paraben. You really don't want skincare that doesn't use some sort of preservative since that would cause major issues and damage to your skin from bacteria. Bacteria is bad. Phenoxyethanol is good and very safe. I have used several Dr. Gross products and they all have worked well for me. This overnight renewal "peel" is no exception. It is a stronger product to be used 2 -3 times per week. I LOVE that this product is vegan.I have used it four times so far over a two-week period, each time at night - before sleep. I am 60 and have mildly sensitive skin and light wrinkles. I like having my skin look smooth and fresh, as I use little to no makeup (some makeup for Zoom meetings or going out). I am super careful whenever using a new product, especially a more intense one like this.So, the first time I just dabbed my skin with the pad. Each time I increased the amount of product used up to the fourth time, when I truly massaged the pad into my skin. Each time, I let the product absorb into my skin for a couple of minutes and then applied Dr. Gross's C+ Collagen deep cream.I did not have any irritation at all, and each morning woke up with fresh, smooth skin. I do think it's a pretty intense product and it's really important to use SPF 30+ sunscreen while using it.

I normally love these peel pads. These came and they are streaked a brown/orange color. I opened a few more to make sure and they’re all like that. Really disappointed. These are expensive and I should have purchased them at a retail store. It’s unfortunate and disappointing.
