An absolute scam!
An absolute scam! Amazon please take this product down. It did not work, after following instructions to dip it in hot and cold water, the mercury simply leaked out. And unable to return it, as we have to print a label and ship it ourselves ( no Amazon pick up). Please don't waste your money on this product.

A good thermometer
The thermometer looks good, easily readable, light weight and sturdy. Temperature reading appears to be correct when compared with an electronic thermometer built inside a desk clock. The thermometer needs to kept outside to read the ambient temperature, because inside room the temperature is a few degrees more and is more or less constant.

Accurate and value for money room thermometer
Great quality, good size, easy to read temperature scales and highly accurate. The temperature being shown was compared to a digital room thermometer and was accurate. A fantastic purchase and value for money. Highly recommended!!!

Mediocre construction but serves okay
Although the construction quality is not optimal, the device fulfills its intended function and provides reasonably accurate readings. Its placement in the living room has proven satisfactory, and it continues to operate without issue.
