Special Operations Mindset Paperback – August 1, 2021

I bought the paperback and Audible version. He prefaced this book that it's not going to be loaded by back stories to make you feel good. And although it's necessary in a lot of cases, I like that he jumps in to the nitty-gritty of how to be a top performer.I would say this book is not a one-and-done. I would definitely go back to it for its uplifting instructions.

Pretty cheap price to pay to gain the lifetime insights of a Hero. I just wish I knew enough of the military ecosystem to follow all the acronyms which are peppered throughout the book. I passed it along to my active duty son and he loved the book. I very much recommend this book.

Read the pdf version. It's an excellent book, no fluff and the stories he adds really illustrate the point. This is one of the best if not only books that I've read that vividly describe the qualities and mindset of SF warriors.

Overall a good book if you want to read about some interesting Special Operations stories and discipline. Great for current ROTC cadets who want to be a great officer in their future military careers or anyone for that matter. Simple to read like any army manual however I will say the author seems to bash on the younger generation for not upholding more conservative beliefs as the older generation supposedly does. Different time = different perspectives so just beware if you are more liberal in terms of beliefs.

This arrived today as a gift for our son who is in the military. This is EXACTLY how it arrived, despite being bought as “new”. Disappointing….

The book was short and it was a quick read. The guy knows his stuff but it was more 10,000 foot level than “tactical”.

The words at the top of 95% of pages are cut off and the bottom of each page as a lot of room. They were cut incorrectly. I bought other books with this one and read those first, so I didn't get to "Special Operations Mindset" until I passed my return date. So it's on me for not checking the pages thoroughly, but honestly, I didn't think I had to. This seems like an honest mistake that wasn't caught.

This is a Book to read to help with your motivation.
