The headband roller is lightweight and can be clipped in place. I used one of my own clips, as the supplied clip seemed a bit weak. I did not struggle braiding and winding my hair around the curler. The problem was that it would not stay put. My hair, because it is layered, simply jumped free. The headband itself also does not stay in position; possibly again because my hair is not long or voluminous enough to keep the whole thing, and my hair, tightly in place.I have medium long hair that drops some 10cm below the shoulder. It is cut in 3 rather long layers.This curler may be good for very long hair but it did not work for me.

I thought the product worked well but it was a little stiff and bulky to use. Definitely works just not as easy as it could have been.

So I actually have naturally wavy hair and figured this would be a no-brainer, convenient way to curl overnight and save me time in the morning. Nope.You have to twist your hair around the cushioned tube and then tie it in place with two scrunchies. Thst alone if your hair has layers is a nightmare to do, but actually trying to sleep with it like that is so uncomfortable!! I put up with it for the sake of curly morning hair but then come morning my hair was still damp and hadn't curled at all - like even slightly.Absolutely not worth the hassle or the expense in my opinion.

I bought this to replace a product I left on holiday. This long band in this set is too filled with stuffing it doesn’t bend over your head. Was difficult to wrap hair around and uncomfortable to sleep in and then just sprung out.

I'm 53, have long thick hair with a long-layers style. I never use heat, so if I try to curl my hair I have to leave the curling implement for hours, so overnight is ideal. This product creates lovely curls, albeit it takes a few go's to work out how to stop it uncurling. It often will uncurl a little but enough curl has usually been created before it uncurl. I use bobby pins to help pin the shorter sections around my face.So being 50+ the fight to prevent wrinkles is fully on, and sleeping on the back makes a huge difference to reducing wrinkles cased by compression and distortion of the face whilst it is squished up against the pillow all night whilst side or tummy sleeping.Wearing this product to sleep in makes sleeping on your side uncomfortable and it ruins the hair wrapped round the foam curling rod, so it encourages sleeping on your back.If sleeping on your back, you can gently rest the side of your face (by your ears) on the rod which ensures there's no pressure or creases created on your facial skin.If I'm not using this curler at night I sleep with my head instead the U of a memory foam neck support, also from Amazon! No need for expensive sleep wrinkle pillows!(It can take determination and perseverance to sleep on your back (if you're able to) but the benefits can very soon be seen)

My hair cannot hold a curl for its life but this helped my hair last the whole day definitely recommend!

Wenn man darauf achtet wie die spitzen von dem haargummi festgehalten werden, sind die locken am nächsten Tag wirklich toll! Meine Cousine dachte, ich hätte sie mit einem lockenstab gemacht.Wenn der Haargummi die spitzen abknickt sehen die spitzen nach dem trocknen halt sehr "fusselig und kapput" aus. Beim ersten Mal bin ich dann etwas mit dem Glätteisen über die spitzen. Wobei der Sinn von einem hitzelosen styling dann auch verloren war.Die Spange, die diese Wurst auf dem Kopf halten soll ist meiner Meinung nach auch eher schmerzhaft als produktiv aber es funktioniert auch ohne.Ich würde sie Haare immer etwas abtrocknen lassen, durchbürsten und dann rumwickeln, sonst dauert es ewig bis die Haare trocken sind, da die Wurst keine Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt.Macht man die Haare auf bevor sie ganz trocken sind, sind die Haare auch nicht lockig.Also am besten über Nacht benutzen. Tagsüber könnten Nachbarn und Postbote auch denken, dass man bisschen irre ist.Also wenn man den Dreh raus hat funktioniert es gut und für das Geld macht man nicht viel kaputt. Man kann auch besser drauf schlafen als mit lockenwicklern, papilotten oder irgendwelchen Socken..
