I purchased this to cut corrugated metal siding for a pole building. The cutter worked great, the blades are reposition to allow cutting from different directions which is helpful when cutting corrugated type metal. Overall these are a great value for the price. I would not recommend them for a commercial use but for occasional homeowner work they are well worth the money.

I'm building a metal workshop and needed to trim the corrugated wall panels. This doesn't cut as smooth as my electric shears but it is pretty darned good. One side is butter smooth and the other has a slight burr on it. If you cut with the motor on the top side, you won't have a burr on the top side. Does pretty good in the peaks and valleys of 5V tin but does scratch the paint off on sharp creases. a little cold galvanizing paint combined with the trim panels and Bob is your uncle.

Building a metal shed, I tried using abrasive metal blades for my circular saw and a metal cutting blade for the angle grinder. Those worked, but left burnt sharp edges and the angle grinder liked to skip around a lot. (NOTE: I found out later you should pull the grinder with metal blade vs push). However - those suck compared to using this nibbler. It's THE tool for the job. I used both the straight cutter and curve cutter pins, both worked great. Very quick, a lot safer than the above mentioned saw and grinder blades.

Not sure how long this thing will last, but it was very cheap and works well enough. If I was a professional doing metal work full time then I'd look elsewhere, but for occasional work it seems solid. Motor gets pretty warm so keep and eye on the duty cycle you're asking out of it. I'm using it on ribbed roofing and siding which is difficult to cut with shears. This works.

I bought the metal nibbler to do metal roofing and siding. This tool cuts really fast with both straight and curved cutting heads. It seems to be made pretty solid and I expect it to hold up to some abuse.

It's really good item. Make your job easy. Well built and cheap.

I have never used any other nibbler, so, I'm giving it 4 stars. It has worked really well for me. It's quick, in my inexperienced opinion. It cuts about a 16th or 8th wide cut. I don't know if any other attachments are available. I do know, this was about the least expensive nibbler I could get, and I'm very happy. It cuts my 26 guage steel very well. No sign of wear.
