Safe enough for mom to approve, yet still "cool" approved by a 7 yr old.
The top leg strap is a bit loose on my skinny 7 yr old, but luckily the straps can overlap and still be secure! Overall very happy with the purchase. Good quality and looks great! my kiddo has stayed safe while learning to ride his dirt bike. Very functional and easy to wear, without interfering with body movement. Great value for the price!

Feels some what strong. Definitely will help in a wreck. But most important I can adjust it to fit both of their sizes with room to grow. This is also teaching them safety and getting used to wearing protective gear on the trails and track.
