does brita have a sleeve holder to help with condensation?

No, but I don't miss it, because it has a feature that makes it well worth it for me: The carbon filter apparently keeps the contents free of bacteria - I do wash it out periodically but water stays fresh, it never gets that gross aquarium smell or mold.

Do you fill with water through the straw?

No…just like the pitchers, you would take off the cover and fill the bottle. The filter will attach to straw and you are ready for filtered water. Remember to rinse the filter for 15 seconds on first use. https://youtu.be/LOjO6-r2h4Y

Does the straw still get black or moldy, as reported in earlier reviews?

Sadly, I find it very difficult to use the straw. So I have to filter my water first before I put it in the bottle.

Can u use the bottle without the filter straw?

Yes you can when you are at home using tap water. We use the filter straw when travelling since we don’t trust the source of water.
