2PCS 1.5" 4Ohm 3W DIY Small Full Range Audio Speaker Stereo Woofer Loudspeaker for Arduino and DIY Speaker

Bought these to replace speakers in a bluetooth altec. I am unsure if these speakers are water proof from the front like the altec ones. The magnet in these speakers are smaller than the one altec uses. So I'm disappointed . I hear a slight difference but still bassy enough to match, especially with equalizer. At least it fit snug and was cheaper than most others but it's not for me so... Still, this deserves like a 4.5 star rating. Altec makes it easy to repair right now so yea these were a good replacement but I need a bigger drive/magnet and water proofing from the front but these dam sellers cant always or wont always put such spec details up

They sound good for the size and are relatively sturdy. The soldering tabs are a bit fragile but when treated with care they should hold up fine.

My Pop had too much bass and sounded distorted so much some words from Alexa were hard to make out. This speaker fit the hole just fine after I cut out the old on with utility knife and soldered the wires.

Lower quality, having some sound issues from the driver. can't handle much power.

Works well enough, it's a bit smaller than I'd like, but it certainly does the job. Handy to have for DIY projects that need sound output.

These 5 watt speakers work well for low-power applications. They are a good value if you need a couple small two-inch speakers, as long as you are not looking for high volume sound. They seem well made, with a paper cone and a mylar dome in the middle, but are probably best for indoor (or sheltered from moisture) use. They have clear sound, and actually have pretty good bass for their size if they are mounted to an enclosure that contains the out-of-phase signal from the back side (which is best for most any speaker).
