GoWISE Power RVA4001 12-Inch RV Electrical Adaptor 15M/30F Twist Lock - 10AWG

I have been looking for something like this for quite some time. I wanted an adapter that would let me hook up a simple extension cord from my household plug, (10 amp), to my 30 amp camper input. I didn't want to lug out my big 30 amp camper cord just to pre-cool the refrigerator or to run a small dehumidifier in the camper. I also wanted the adapter to have the twist lock tightening ring so it would stay securely in place. This fills the bill perfectly - and the price was very reasonable. I know that I can't run multiple, high amperage appliances with my 12 gauge extension cord from a 10 amp household plug, but that was never my intent.

The 50 amp end does not lock in tight when twisted to hold in place. The threaded plastic ring is very hard to get started on the male threads of RV and the plastic threaded ring does not screw on well enough to hold the 50 amp plug in place tight.I bought this adapter to use at home with my 30 amp service to keep from getting my 50 amp cable out each time I have RV in storage at home.

Well made and just the right short length to hook up the camper from the house for use in the yard. Would be a great idea if they could make a shield or waterproof cover to go over the connection where the standard 3 prong cord connects for wet weather.

Priced cheaper than the RV stores. Worked great for my needs and is a quality US made product.

Worked perfectly. Threaded onto my trailers receptacle and holds on well. Great deal.

What can I say, it's a plugin and it does what it's supposed to.
