I had my doubts because this was significantly cheaper (at only $25) than most alternatives but it turned out to be a great buy. Before I bought this battery I bought another one on Amazon that was $2 cheaper than this one, but not only did that one not fit, it was assembled in an extremely unsafe and sloppy manner that smoke actually came off the battery cell when I tried to install it. This, however, is as good as it gets for an off-brand battery. The screw holes align perfectly when I drop it in. The quality is excellent, and I cannot tell by looking at the battery that anything is sloppy or unsafe or not done to the correct standards. Also it still has 70% charge when I install it and it's not DOA like some other alternatives, and the Coconut Battery app shows it's manufacturer in Jan 2021, has 1 charge cycle, has 6839 mAh which is above the OEM design capacity of 6559mAh and has 104% health.

This battery works great and holds a charge.

can't complain when it fits perfect and was easy to install. Had to scrape the old stuff off but the instructions were good.

The instructions doesn't say to do SMC or PRAM reset which is needed to see the new device and proper battery levels. Even after charging it over 10% the laptop would dies when unplugged. Put the old battery in and the laptop booted up with no charger. The old battery is dying so wanted to replace it with a new one. Also the screw drivers are bad and won't turn the screws. Good thing I had a legit screw driver since I fix Apple laptops. One more of note is that the screw that holds the battery plug to the laptop doesn't quite line up with the hole on the laptop and had to move it over a bit to get the screw in. I don't like to force things so not good to do that.

Fast shipping, came as described

Included the required screwdrivers and fit exactly. Shows a capacity actually above design capacity (7024 mAh vs 6559 mAh) and seems to last as well as a new battery. Shows an age of 555 days, but zero cycles when installed. I will update as it ages. Tip: when removing the old battery, use a string under it and pull through the adhesive to release.

Took a while to get the old battery out of my MacBook but once I did they make this easy as pie to get it back into it.

It fitted perfectly, charges well with very good battery life. Certainly a good quality battery. Would buy again
